April 20 - May 20 Try not to obsess over what someone said, or didn't say, or might have said but not to you. Communication should be open and transparent this week. Where it isn't, pretend it is. Think the best of what others are saying about you.
Popular Gemini
Iggy Azalea Born: June 7, 1990
FACTS - - - - -
Her real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly. She was born in Australia. Her father was a painter and comic artist and her mother was a maid. She dropped out of high school and moves alone to Miami to be closer to the hip-hop scene, working illegally before getting a five-year visa. She won a 2014 American Music Award for favorite rap/hip-hop artist.
GEMINI
May 21 - June 20 Someone owes you something. Whether it's money or a favor, you're determined to get the debt paid up. Make allowances for your debtor, however. Life circumstances can interfere with all of our plans. Don't be so hard on people.
2
June 21 - July 22 If you're intent on establishing a new relationship, try not to come across as scary or desperate to your intended partner. You're a little too intense this week. Take a step back and don't be so controlling. Allow the relationship to form naturally.
LEO
July 23 - August 22 Getting healthy is a good thing, but you're pushing your body too far. Whether it's extreme exercise or a narrow and overly restrictive diet, you must loosen it up a little. Be kinder to yourself. If something hurts or makes you miserable, stop doing it.
VIRGO
August 23 - September 22 You're very passionate about a cause close to your heart this week, but you may be putting others off by being too forceful about it. Try gentle persuasion instead of coercion. Lead by example and let people make their own decisions.
LIBRA
September 23 - October 22 Work is going well, so naturally you're keen to make the most of this energy. However, you're in danger or burning out. Make time this week for your family, friends and leisure pursuits. There's more to life than work.
October 23 - November 21 Put your investigative and research skills to good use by looking in-depth into a subject which interests you. Whether you do this formally by starting a course of education, or informally by teaching yourself, you'll benefit hugely from it. November 22 - December 21 Beware of too much passion, jealousy and anger in a relationship. Controlling behaviour is likely to end badly for all concerned, so check your motives. Step away from any abuse immediately and seek professional help if necessary. December 22 - January 19 You're a little obsessed this week over how others see you - but why? If you're happy with yourself, nobody else's opinion matters. And when you're looking in the mirror, remember to look deeper than superficial looks. Appreciate you for who you are.
“Take a step back and don't be so controlling" CANCER -
AQUARIUS
January 20 - February 18 Niggling doubts and strange thoughts may plague you this week, and you may develop a weird fascination or obsession with a particular topic. Pursue it by all means but try to stay within the law in doing so. Don't go to extremes!
PISCES
February 19 - March 20 You're not normally a gambler, but this week's energy may prompt you to indulge in some very risky strategies indeed. Listen to you gut instinct and walk away from anything which seems too good to be true. Take the safer route, always.

March 21 - April 19 Normally, when work-life balance is out of step, it's the work end of the equation which needs scaling back. In your case, however, you may need to step up and take on more work now - for your family's sake, as you need to shore up your income.

New couple Ariana & Pete
With this historic distinction, Lamar will receive $15,000, along with the prize. The special honor has previously gone to artists like Bob Dylan, Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane and Hank Williams. However, the Compton-born lyricist is now the most commercially successful artist to be awarded the Pulitzer Prize for music.

Pete Davidson, Saturday Nights Live Star, and pop-star Ariana Grande, announced last May 30th that they are officially a couple. Last weekend supportive girlfriend Ariana was in attendance at her boyfriends stand-up show in Atlantic City. Pete, 24, opened up for David Chapelle’s show, but the comedian didn’t make any jokes about his new relationship. Chapelle has an extremely strict cell phone policy for his shows, but comedian Wil Sylvince was able to get a photo with the couple, and shared it on Instagram before the show started.

Ingredients - 1 pound fresh or frozen sweet cherries - pitted but left whole if fresh, thawed if frozen - 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar - 1 tblspn cornstarch - Zest and juice of one lemon - 1 large egg + 1 tblspn water - 1 17-oz. package puff pastry, thawed - Coarse decorating sugar
Cherry Hand Pies 1
Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment and set aside.
2
Cherry filling: In a colander placed over a bowl, combine the cherries, 1/3 cup of sugar, cornstarch, lemon zest, and juice. Stir to combine and then let it sit for 15 min. This resting time allows some of the juice to drain out of the fruit and will ensure your filling isn’t too liquidly. Add additional sugar if needed.
3
When you’re ready to make the hand pies, unroll one portion of puff pastry and press it out gently to make it even thickness. Cut into 6 even rectangles and place the
6
rectangles on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cut the second sheet of puff pastry into matching pieces.
4
Spoon about two tablespoons of cherry filling onto each rectangle on the baking sheet and then top with the rectangles from the second sheet of puff pastry. Using a fork, crimp the edges of the hand pies to seal them. Cut 2 or 3 slashes on the top of each hand pie with a serrated knife. Whisk together the egg and tablespoon of water and brush over
each hand pie. Sprinkle with coarse sugar, if using.
5
Prior to baking, freeze the pies for 15 to 30 min to chill the filling so it doesn’t explode while baking.
6
Bake for 13 to 15 minutes, rotating once half way through until the hand pies are beautifully browned and puffy. If you are baking completely frozen hand pies, you can move them straight into the oven from the freezer. Add 5 to 6 min onto baking time.
7
Let the hand pies cool before serving. Once cooled, store leftover hand pies an airtight container in the fridge. They will keep for a few days.

Jesse Ramsoebhag Motivational lifestyle coach - Personal trainer Creative sport director – International model
Flipping the script
The story of Jesse, 35, starts with how he was raised by a single mother, six maternal aunts and six uncles in The Hague, Netherlands. Food has always been very important in the Surinamese culture, which he perceived, as his parents are both originally from Suriname, Paramaribo. Throughout Jesse’s childhood
8
healthiness regarding food was not a priority. “We ate food the way we liked it without thinking about the oil, salt and sugar.” This was the reason why he reached 103 kilo at a very young age. Due to his weight, he got laughed at in elementary school and in high school. At one point, he no longer wanted to go through these experiences, and he
no longer wanted people to look at him a certain way. So Jesse, who is now a motivational lifestyle coach, an international model, a creative sport director and a personal trainer, decided to “flip the script.” “I literally decided to motivate myself, stimulate and coach myself to be able to achieve my goals by switching my lifestyle.”
GOWEEKLY 23 2018 COVERSTORY
Journey After a few years of going to the gym and losing weight, Jesse did not want to keep his journey and knowledge to himself. He started to give advice about training, sports, food, lifestyle and mindset. Now, he has experience of working as a trainer for magazines like Cosmopolitan, Flair, Margriet, Grazia and One Magazine. He also worked for Men’s Health USA on an international level for their online platform. Additionally, Jesse has been placed by governments in health projects in The Hague and Rotterdam, Netherlands. “When I speak about sports and health, I speak about passion, about investing in your life and family; being your own 2.0 version.”
Body and Mind Control Over the years, Jesse has been sharing his acquired skills and knowledge with individuals and businesses through his company, Body and Mind Control. He is there to motivate, stimulate and to coach people to become a better version of themselves. He provides prenatal and postpartum trainings; he provides boot camps for children to make them aware of how important health is, while including their parents; he trains people who have stress, and people who want to feel good in their skin. Jesse also assists individuals who want a firm body, those who want to fit in their jeans or skirt, and people who want to work on their emotional state. Controlling the mind is a very essential element of the journey towards being healthy, because “if you kiss the mind, your body will follow.”

Every two weeks, Jesse will be sharing his knowledge with you “about lifestyle, nutrition, training and how you

something beautiful, something big, something good and something that optimizes Curaçao.”

You shop. We ship. Shopping like a U.S. local has never been easier!
Online shopping at American stores has always presented challenges to those of us living outside the country’s borders. Some U.S. shops don’t ship internationally, others charge exorbitant shipping fees, and the logistics of getting packages through customs is always a headache!
We thought there has to be a better way, and that’s why we created MyMalls - a speedy, hassle-free, premium delivery service from the U.S. to a growing number of select regions around the world. For those who value their time and money, MyMalls is a dream come true!

There are so many reasons to exercise. It’s super-important for your heart, brain, bones, and immune system. And the more you move, the more calories you’ll burn. But exercise will not zero out a high-calorie, bad-quality diet — you just won’t burn enough. What exercising can do: make your metabolism speedier by increasing your levels of testosterone and growth hormone. So kick it up with a three-pronged approach.
Let’s fire up that
metabolism 1 3
Cardio: Doing intervals can be especially effective at raising your metabolic rate and burning fat. It can also produce an afterburn, meaning you’ll continue to zap cals after exercising. To do an interval workout, alternate steady movement (say, a brisk walk) with faster movement (a moderate jog). Aim for 20 to 30 minutes at least three times a week.
“NEAT” movement: That’s
Strength training: Building muscle revs your metabolism. The why: Even at rest, muscle burns four times as many calories as fat, so the more muscle you have, the more you’ll burn. (That’s why men tend to have faster metabolisms — more muscle!) Do at least two weight workouts per week.

“nonexercise activity thermogenesis”: the calories expended by fidgeting during a meeting or running to the water fountain. In one study, those who did lots of NEAT movement burned as much as 2,000 cals more a day! So stroll when you’re on the phone; hit a museum rather than a movie; go to the store instead of ordering online.
