March 21 - April 19 You may be feeling way too serious at the moment. Whether you know it or not, you're in dire need of cheering up. If someone invites you to leave your house, make sure you do. It may take you a while to get into it, but you won’t regret it. If you can, stop second-guessing yourself.
TAURUS
Popular Sagittarius
Nicki Minaj Born: December 8, 1982
FUN FACTS - - -
She is the first female artist to get 7 songs on Billboard hot 100 She was a waitress at Red Lobsters She is afraid of heights
SAGITTARIUS
November 22 - December 21 Unexpected people, especially women, will surprise you with what they say. Your mother may bring up an issue that you hadn't even considered. Perhaps your emotions get stirred when you recall something that a significant woman in your life said. Your feelings are bouncing from your heart to your head and back again. Take the feelings into account, but don't let them dominate your decisions.
LOVE It is time to speak up and voice any resentment that you may be feeling concerning a certain aspect of your relationship. If you have been harboring suspicions about your partner's (current or prospective) behavior for some time, and have so far remained silent, then do so no longer.
2
April 20 - May 20 New winds will begin to blow away the black clouds that have been hovering over you lately. What more could you want? Try to interact more with the people around you. They will appreciate it if you express genuine interest in their opinions.
GEMINI
May 21 - June 20 Drop the conclusions you've reached concerning your work at the moment. Like it or not, life is going to throw you a curveball. Normally, you wouldn't consider the sorts of propositions that people will make to you now. The ideas may seem crazy and out of line with who you are. They may be crazy, yes, but they aren't out of the question!
CANCER
June 21 - July 22 There may be a frenzy of activity around you, but you'll be able to handle it. Your charm will get you through any door. You should be able to juggle many things at once, and others will look to you for support. You'll have a level head and calm demeanor and handle things diplomatically and honestly.
LEO
July 23 - August 22 Be careful about blaming yourself for something that you aren't responsible for. Maybe you influenced someone to act a certain way and now that action is backfiring negatively. Remember that everyone makes his or her own decisions.
VIRGO
August 23 - September 22 You're at an emotionally climactic time, and your feelings are erratic and perhaps unmanageable. Don't feel pressured into making logic out of anything. Your job is to take a deep breath and relax. Remember that life is an exciting adventure full of twists and

turns. Erratic, roller-coaster emotions are a reminder of that. Enjoy the ride.
LIBRA
September 23- October 22 Don't box yourself into a corner and shut out everything around you except your immediate concerns. The more you isolate yourself and insist that you don't need anyone else's help, the more frustrated and sad you'll become. If you're lonely, scared, or angry, admit this to yourself and others.
"Don`t waste all your energy"
PISCES -
SCORPIO
October 23 - November 21 You're likely to take things to heart a bit more than usual. Dramatic changes in your environment and attitude will keep you on your toes. The wonderful thing about this is that you'll gain a great deal of insight and understanding of other people.
CAPRICORN
December 22 - January 19 Your mood is quite stubborn and others would be foolish to think they could change your mind about anything. You're the only person allowed to have that job. The truth is that you may change your mind several times today, and that's fine. Just don't expect anyone else to keep up with you!
AQUARIUS
January 20 - February 18 Life was getting serious there for a while. Smile and try to go outside your normal routine. What's the point of working so hard if you only reward yourself by slumping in a chair at home? Go for a ride for an hour or two instead. It would do you good.
PISCES
February 19 - March 20 You may feel like a racehorse crammed in the starting gate. You're stuck in a small spot, stomping your feet, and anxiously waiting for the starting bell. You may feel powerless since you have no control over when the gate will open. Be patient. Don't waste all your energy fidgeting.

Kuenta i Tambu:
Back to their roots
PINK is determined to raise her two children as gender-neutral
Kuenta i Tambu’s latest album Rais, takes you back to their roots. A great portion of this album was recorded in Curaçao, which is home to bandleader Roël Calister. The band also further explained how most sound samples and drums used throughout the album were recorded live by the band. The album focuses on personal stories, such as the hit Dutch Major Leaguer where they highlight the hardships they have dealt with while working on their career. Kuenta i Tambu performed during the Curaçao Baseball Week on Saturday December 2nd. But don’t worry, no need to panic, they will be back on December 16th at Villa Maria together with Ataniro and Zyon!
The 38-year-old mother of 2 explained that she does not want traditional gender roles imposed on her children.

MAFFIAMEID Revealed....
The untold stories After its release in April, Maffiameid, the true crime story and autobiography of the infamous Nina L. has taken Curaçao, Aruba and the Netherlands by storm. According to local bookstores, Maffiameid is the bestselling book in the history of the island, attracting the most unconventional readers that wouldn’t normally pick up a book. The book is currently in the top ten bestsellers in the Netherlands. Nina’s story functions both as inspiration and a cautionary tale for the youth, not to be seduced by a life of crime. Nina paid a steep price for her shenanigans and fast life, never completing a formal education and carrying the heartbreaking accolade as the woman that sat the longest drug related sentence in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
8
COVER STORY GOWEEKLY 49 2017
Despite her outgoing and flirtatious personality, Nina gets really emotional when she’s confronted by the powerful reaction from her fans and sympathizers. “I’m not a role model”, she exclaimed. “I’m just getting an opportunity to tell my story and make a difference. This is my therapy”, she added. During her last stint in prison, she was confronted by the realities and penalties of her choices and finally realized that her four children were the real victims. Nina participated in an eye-opening documentary called ‘Ouders in ‘t Lik’, where they aired a heart wrenching conversation between Nina and her eldest son, who related the numerous abuses he endured at the hands of his grandmother, because Nina was in jail. “At that moment I promised my children that I would change my life and put their wellbeing first”, she explained. Despite a rough childhood, Nina is committed to make amends by reaching out to at risk youth and single mothers about her struggles and triumphs.
The loss of innocence
The Show
At age twelve, she was unceremoniously sent to Holland to be with her biological mother, who worked as a prostitute in Arnhem. Nina landed in a real-life hell and became a runaway at the age of fifteen after enduring many years of merciless terrorization and abuses at the hands of her mother. A bizarre life follows between junks and prostitutes in Groningen, Twente, Friesland, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
For four years, Nina collaborated with crime journalist Hendrik Jan Korterink, to complete the manuscript for Maffiameid. Although Nina is proud of the final product, she laments that many compelling stories were left on the cutting room floor. She recently collaborated with a dynamic team to create a compelling one woman show called MaffiaMeid: Revealed … the untold stories, where she will disclose additional tales about her life. “During the play you get me uncensored and raw. I’m not holding anything back, so together we will laugh, cry but also talk about opportunities to overcome real life struggles”, Nina explained.
During her ten-year relationship with one of the largest drug lords of Rotterdam, Suriname and the Antilles, Nina got deeply involved in the drug trade. For many years she managed to elude the authorities, while narrowly escaping with her life. She became an important figure in the syndicate and operated as the right hand of her partner.
"“I’m just getting an opportunity to tell my story and make a difference"
As we speak, TeleCuraçao and Cariflix are producing a documentary about her life, which is slated to come out in January 2018.
“The book focused more on my sensational past, but the show is in my own voice and also highlights my growth. The show carries a message of hope”, she added. MaffiaMeid: Revealed …the untold stories premieres on December 16th, 2017 at the auditorium of the WTC. Tickets are available at Bruna and Mensing's Caminada.
