Shannon Adriana What do you love about Christmas? I love to eat, especially ‘truki pan’ during the holidays! I know it sounds crazy, but everyone is there from abroad after a long night of partying, we all end up meeting up at one of the many ‘truki pan’s’ on the island. You just have a bite and a laugh. What’s better? Besides that I love sightseeing all the light decorations in the city and spending as much time as possible with my family.
His Christmas wish to you is: Merry Christmas my dear friends, may you feel the love during the holidays and I hope Santa is good to you this year because you only deserve the best. Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
Angelina Martina What do you love about Christmas? For me, December is the best month of the year! It might sound cheesy but it is the most wonderful time of the year! For me the best thing to do in December is spending time with my family. Buying presents and listening to Christmas carols with a cup of hot cocoa! I LOVE seeing all the Christmas decorations in Punda and Otrobanda because they’re one of a kind and last but not least, our parties here on the island are the best!

I think most of us love Christmas simply because we get to spend quality time with the ones we love while sharing gifts but also delicious food! Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Everything is so colorful and jolly. All the stores have bright lights and sparkly decorations. Homes have Christmas trees glistening through the window with bright lights. I love to drive around the city to see the different street decorations. I just feel like a little kid who just received a bag of candy!
The best thing for me about Christmas is to still experience the excitement of my kids waking up early to open their Christmas presents, even as they grow older. Ooohh AND the saka raton breakfast after my dad’s birthday on the first day of Christmas! Yummie!
Nothing honestly beats spending quality time with your family and friends during the holiday season. On Christmas Eve we go to my parents’ house to cook food for our annual Christmas dinner and to wrap the gifts. There is something about putting together a gift. It just brings a smile to my face!
