Encounter with Faith 信仰所 Faith Betwix Reality and Illution under Water

水的「形」有兩個部分，一半是水的現象產生的形，另外一半是容器給予的。這種特性讓水可以作為銜接實體與幻想的角色，透 過「形」影響人的感受。自古水的現象、符號、量體就被整理進人類的文化裡，更是基督教經典《聖經》中重要的部分，但是在 教堂空間中卻鮮少出現。那如何讓水在空間中畫龍點睛，以水作為與上帝對話的媒介。 受洗其實不單純只是受浸典禮的那90秒，其實更是走進信仰的一趟路途。透過水把信仰的受洗歷程延長，以空間呈現，聖經中描 述水的故事作為不同階段的隱喻，強化在過程中的聯想，以此置入在教堂的空間。設計中將著重四個裝置水的系統、當中呈現的 現象感受與空間型態之間配合，完成一場與幻想空間對話的禮拜。 The shape of water could be divided into two parts, one is from the phenomenal creation, the other one is from the container.The image, phenomenon, expression of water had been collected in human culture but rarely appear in churches. Thus I wondered how to make water a part of the church space system and as the medium to encounter with faith. Baptize is not just the 90 seconds of the baptism ceremony, it is a journey into faith. I took this concept to respond to space with worship. The story of water in the Bible is used as a metaphor at different stages to strengthen the association in the experience. The design focus on the system of four water installations, the cooperation between the phenomena and feelings presented in the space, and a worship encounter with faith with the fantasy. 2020 TKU Dept.
