About Me My name is Grace Vickery and I am an Interior Architecture and Design Student studying at Arts University Bournemouth. I am inspired by the developing world as well as traditional design. I believe that imagination and creativity is limitless. Throughout my time at university I have developed my passion for photoshopping as well as new techniques and styles. Furthermore, I have significantly improved my sketching abilities and design processes in order to explore and grow a design. I have done work experience with BBA Architects were I was given a mini project to re-deisgn the office. I learnt how to surevy a building and transfer the information to AutoCAD. i then used Sketchup and Photoshop to design a new creative external and internal appearence. Additionally I went on site to a current project to see the develoment of the design. From this experience I had first hand experince in an industry, learnt new programmes for the first time and developed my design process skills.

Throught the summer of 2016 and easter 2017 I did some temporary work for Barneby Gates wallpaper and fabric designers. My responsibilities included answering emails and phone calls, preparing and packing orders, sending out samples and office maintenance. I used my skills in Word and Excel to keep track of data such as payments or returns. I learnt a lot about the running of a company from this job as well as customer service skils through communicating with customers.

Here I participated in a weeks work experince with the graphics department and photographer. I helped the department with design projects for the university and with a film project promoting the site. Furthermore, I assisted the photographer on the universities graduation day, taking photos of graduates and their families. From this experience I developed my photography skills and learnt new skills such as filmography.
