SONGS OF COMFORT
In The Great Triumphant Morning
In the great triumphant morning, When we hear the Bridegroom cry, And the dead in Christ shall rise, We’ll be changed to life immortal, In the twinkling of an eye, And meet Jesus in the skies.
Refrain
We shall all rise to meet Him, We shall all rise to greet Him, In the morning when the dead in Christ shall rise
We shall all rise to meet Him, We shall all rise to greet Him, And shall have the marriage supper in the skies.
In the great triumphant morning, What a happy time ’twill be, When the dead in Christ shall rise,
When We All Get To Heaven
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus, Sing His mercy and His grace; In the mansions bright and blessed He’ll prepare for us a place.
Refrain
When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, we’ll sing and shout the victory!
While we walk the pilgrim pathway Clouds will overspread the sky; But when traveling days are over Not a shadow, not a sigh.
Refrain
When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, we’ll sing and shout the victory!
When the Lord descends in glory, Sets His waiting children free, And we meet Him in the skies.
Refrain
In the great triumphant morning, When the harvest is complete, And the dead in Christ shall rise, We’ll be crowned with life immortal, Christ and all the loved ones meet, In the rapture in the skies.
Refrain
In the great triumphant morning, All the kingdom we’ll possess, Then the dead in Christ shall rise, Reign as kings and priests eternal, Under Christ forever blest, After meeting in the skies.
Refrain
Let us then be true and faithful, Trusting, serving every day; Just one glimpse of Him in glory Will the toils of life repay.
Refrain
When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, we’ll sing and shout the victory!
Onward to the prize before us! Soon His beauty we’ll behold; Soon the pearly gates will open We shall tread the streets of gold.
Refrain
When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, we’ll sing and shout the victory!

THE
Power OF LOVE
Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy is fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the Lord. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, he would be utterly despised Song of Solomon 8:6-7
Adeline’s testimony regarding her illness: “God will have the final say.”
Today, we gather to honor and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable woman of God, Adeline Adella Richards-Tomlinson. Born on December 20, 1975, Adeline’s journey was marked by her unwavering faith in the Apostolic doctrine, her boundless love for her family and friends, and her passionate dedication to the ministry of prayer and intercession. In her 48 years on this earth, she touched the lives of so many, leaving a legacy of faith, strength, and love that will be remembered for years to come.
A defining moment in Adeline’s life came in 1986 when she made the decision to be baptized in Jesus’ name. This act of faith marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to her relationship with God. Soon after, she received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and from that moment on, her life was transformed. She was endued with power to shift the atmosphere. Many times, at All Saints Apostolic Church, her spiritual tongues and her ‘dip’ in the spirit would send waves of Holy Ghost fire along her row.
Nobody could quite play the tambourines like Adeline could. In a congregation of several hundred people, you could not miss Addie on the third row praising and worshipping God with her tambourine and the flick of her hands that were held high in perpetual praise and adoration for what the Lord has done. Adeline was unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, boldly proclaiming her faith at every opportunity. She dedicated her life to prayer and intercession, always ready to pray, encourage, and uplift the people of God. Whether she was in church, at home, or even driving on the highways, Adeline was unafraid to rebuke the devil, standing firm in her faith and using every moment to advance the Kingdom of God. She tarried with many people at the altar who would eventually receive the Holy Ghost. Addie, you are truly missed.
Adeline grew up in St. Catherine, Jamaica, where she attended St. Jago High School. From a young age, she demonstrated a natural aptitude for academics, consistently achieving good grades but it was her dedication to Christ and infectious smile that made her a shining example to her peers. She also had a passion for sports, particularly netball, where she displayed the same determination and teamwork that would later define her life. Her time at St. Jago
High School was filled with memories of academic success and enjoyment with her classmates.
In 2001, Adeline embarked on a new chapter of her life when she migrated to the United States to further her education. She enrolled at Florida International University and later went on to Nova Southeastern University, where she pursued a Master of Science in Human Resource Management. Adeline approached her studies with the same determination and excellence that had always been her hallmark. She was passionate about learning and was driven by a desire to make a difference in the world. Her academic achievements were a testament to her intelligence and hard work, and she graduated with honors, ready to take on the next phase of her journey.
It was during her time in the United States that Adeline’s life would change in another profound way. While attending Pentecostal Tabernacle in Miami Gardens, she met Dave Tomlinson, a man who shared her deep faith and love for God. Their connection was immediate and deep, rooted in their shared values and devotion to their spiritual journeys. On July 31, 2010, they were married, beginning a beautiful union that would bless them with three wonderful children Josiah, Aliyah and Joshua. Adeline was a devoted wife and mother, and her family was the center of her world. In the 12 years of being a mother, she poured her love and energy into raising her children, teaching them the values of faith, kindness, and perseverance.
Adeline’s infectious smile was something that anyone who knew her will never forget. It was a smile that could light up a room, bringing joy and warmth to everyone around her. Many times, Bishop Peart could be seen looking at Addie and Jeremy on the third row because of that infectious smile. Her joy was contagious, and her positive energy made her a magnet for people of all ages. Her motherly attributes, so evident even from a young age, attracted many young people to her while growing up in All Saints Apostolic Church. She had a way of making everyone feel cared for, listened to, and understood. Her home was a place where you found guidance, support, and a deep sense of belonging, and her wisdom and counsel were commendable. These are traits that she adopted from her mother, the matriarch and all-endearing prayer warrior of our church, Evangelist Erica Richards, affectionately known as Aunt Erica to so many.
Throughout her life, Adeline remained steadfast in her commitment to her faith and her family. She was a beacon of strength and wisdom, always ready to offer a word of encouragement, a prayer, or a loving rebuke when needed. Her life was a testament to the power of faith and the impact one person can have on the lives of others. Adeline’s legacy is not only in the achievements she accomplished but in the countless lives she touched through her ministry, her kindness, and her love. As we say goodbye to Addie today, we do so with heavy hearts, but also with gratitude for the time we were blessed to have with her. Her life was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire us. Adeline’s Apostolic faith was her guiding light, and she lived each day with a heart full of love and a spirit dedicated to God. We find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, resting in the arms of the Savior she served so faithfully.
Adeline Tomlinson’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, her friends, and all those she touched with her prayers, her hymns, her smile, and her love. Let us live, so that we can meet Adeline again, in that great triumphant morning when the dead in Christ shall rise. Gone before is her father, Brother John Richards. Adeline is survived by her husband Dave; children Josiah, Aliyah and Joshua; her mother, Evangelist Erica Richards; sisters Rachel and Ruth; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and church family.

Beacon OF LOVE A
My Aunty Adeline, our beacon of love, leaves behind a legacy of faith that will forever echo in our hearts. She brought a special light into our family, a light that shone brightest in her roles as a mother to her three precious children and as a devoted wife.
Her days were filled with songs of praise, her voice a melody that brought peace and joy to all who heard it. Even as cancer took its toll, her faith never wavered. My aunty held on to God’s promises with a strength that inspired us all, singing His praises even in the quiet moments of her struggle.
Her life was a hymn of love and devotion and a testament to the power of faith. Though her voice is now silent, her spirit sings on, a gentle reminder of the grace and courage she embodied. We will carry her memory in our hearts, where her song will never fade.
Sincerely,
Nicolette Barnett – Niece

Angel
Written by Nicolette Barnett and Melanie Richards
Tear drops, slow and steady, The pain so real and true, God took another angel, And that angel, dear, was you. Angel wings, upon the clouds, Your body softly sleeps, Hush now sweet angel, No more tears you have to weep. Prayers are sent to you, The short life you led; Your family will never forget you, So rest your precious head. I know God will look after you, Now you are truly alive, Your spirit soars beyond the moon, Your legacy will survive.
You’re beautiful, you’re endless, Now stretch your wings and fly, You’re loved by so many, It will never be goodbye.
Close your pretty eyes, No more tears, just go and rest, Let your soul lie peacefully, We know you did your best.
Dedicated by Raymond Richards and daughter Melanie Richards (Cousins)
