Greetings
O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
Dear saints, friends, well-wishers. We thank God for His abundant love, preserving power and His goodness towards us. This year as we celebrate our 26th Pastoral Appreciation, we must thank God for His divine protection towards us especially during this lingering pandemic.
We would like to express our gratitude to you for taking the time to celebrate with us and the Emmanuel family on this very special occasion.
May the blessings of the Lord be with you always.
Bishop Leary & Prophetess Cora LewisPROFILE OF
BISHOP DR. LEARY & PASTOR PROPHETESS CORA LEWIS
Pastor Lewis accepted the Lord at a very early age; having answered the call of God to preach and teach the Gospel she traveled throughout the Caribbean, Europe, Canada and the United States spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ until she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Bishop Leary Lewis and became partners in spreading God’s word.
Together they have planted ministries in Jamaica, the United States and in the Andros Island in the Bahamas. They have become leaders to many, teachers to many, Pastors to many, mother, father and mentor to countless members of the body of Christ whom they serve with dignity and grace. They have labored with relentless determination and zeal; they persevered through difficult times and tumultuous circumstances and emerged with more determination strength and vigor.
Bishop and Pastor have demonstrated a vibrant and compelling relationship with God and respond to the power of the Holy Spirit in their daily lives; they are obedient to the mission’s call, their spirits are hungry for authenticity and sincerity; they do not allow disappointment to be defeating, they understand the challenges of leadership while they maintain an enthusiasm and energy for the work of the Lord. They are tenacious and always seek to overcome obstacles through prayer and fasting. They demonstrate honesty, good judgment and high ethical standards and do not condone ineffective behaviors.
They provide spiritual and emotional support to the congregants in prayer and fasting for the sick and for grace to abound in the lives of the believers, while inspiring and equipping others for the Ministry of Jesus Christ.
Their lives exemplify the victory they unwaveringly proclaim to all who will commit themselves to the word of God.

THE ASSISTANT PASTOR ELECT: MINISTER NOVLETTE MCKAY
Congratulations Pastor Lewis on your 26th year of service and commitment to this auspicious calling in this vineyard. Although you have more than 26 years toiling for the Lord, I just want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you for accepting the call to pastor this ministry, The Emmanuel Apostolic Ministries, of which I have been a member and under your tutelage for the past 16 years. To say I have garnered a wealth of knowledge and spiritual growth during my tenure, would be an understatement.
You have endured hardships, faced disappointments, cried some tears, have some sleepless nights, stared death in the face on numerous occasions, but through it all, you forged ahead, setting your face like a flint because you have learned to trust in God, and is cognizant of the fact that He is your Sovereign Lord and Supreme ruler, faithful in All His ways. And you have enforced those same traits in my life as well as countless others hence the depth and height we have reached in our Christian journey. Thank you for teaching, living and demonstrating the nature of Christ. In addition, I am most grateful for the importance you have taught us, that a genuine, committed and disciplined fasting and prayer life is a MUST.
My sincere prayer for you, is that you continue to stay true to who you are, preaching and teaching this gospel in its entirety and without compromise. And outside of your “Pastoral Robe,” please remain that nurturing, sophisticated, confident, fearless and strong daughter of Zion as fashioned by the Master Designer Himself. Twenty-Six years and counting, Pastor Cora Lewis, you have come a mighty long way! God is Great, and He is certainly Great in you. Congratulations and may the Grace and Peace of God continue to embody you wholly. You are indeed a testimony.
God bless you always, Minister Novlette McKay
FROMIn chemistry, He turned water into wine
In biology, He was born without the normal conception; In physics, He disapproved the law of gravity when He ascended into heaven;
In economics He disapproved the law of diminishing returns by feeding 5000 men with two fishes and five loaves of bread;
In medicine, He cured the sick and the blind without administering a single dose of drugs;
In history, He is the beginning and the end; In government, He said that He shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace;
In religion, He said, no one comes to the Father except through Him. He is the greatest man in history, He had no servants, yet they called Him Master.
He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher, He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer, He had no army, yet kings feared Him He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. That’s what I like about Jesus, wonderful Saviour is He, He is million good things all wrap up in one, that’s what I like about Him. Let us celebrate Him who is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is worthy to be praised and glorified.
