To My Wife
To my dearly beloved friend, wife, and shopping partner. I thank God for the 37 years we shared together. I will miss talking to you for hours. I will miss you saying, “I’m Princess Jasmin.” I will miss our many vacations and your infectious laughter. Above all, you were a woman of God, a true servant leader, serving God always. You were affectionately known as “Mother” to your staff, and cared about each of them. Helping others was your passion, it might have been with money, a job, advice, or your love. My honey has left her foot prints of kindness and love. She possessed compassion and faith. It’s not how long you live, but what you do with the time you have. Love Always, Your Husband Devon

My Queen
To my Queen, best friend, and counselor - I’m heartbroken that you are gone and I will deeply miss you. You always encouraged me to go after my dreams and goals, and be the best at it. I will miss talking to you every day and calling you for the littlest things… like what do you think about this dress ma? Or, this happened at work today. You always made me laugh with your jokes and your laughter was so infectious. I will never be the same, but have to understand that your purpose on earth is completed and you have left your legacy in the hearts of many. You were a child of God, and I’m at peace that you have entered into the Kingdom of Heaven. No one will ever replace you. Mom, now who am I going to call for the littlest things? I love you forever my Queen.

Jasmin Marcia O’Neale-Lewis was born on December 18, 1956, in Stepney, England. Jasmin lived a fulfilling life as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved spending time with her family, going to church, and going on cruises. Above all else, Jasmin loved the Lord and praised him each and every day. She was a living example of a caring, loving, generous, strong, and determined woman. She will be greatly missed for her infectious laughter and immense care for others. Jasmin is survived by her dear husband Devon, daughter Devan-Ann, mother Joyce, brother Ronald, son-in-law Claudel, grandson Joel, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers. In The New Jerusalem When the toils of life are over, And we lay our armor down, And we bid farewell to earth with all its cares, We shall meet and greet our loved ones, And our Christ we then shall crown, In the new Jerusalem. Refrain There’ll be singing, there’ll be shouting When the saints come marching home, In Jerusalem, in Jerusalem, Waving palms with loud hosannas As the King shall take His throne, In the new Jerusalem. Though the way is sometimes lonely, He will hold me with His hand, Through the testings and the trials I must go. But I’ll trust and gladly follow, For sometime I’ll understand, In the new Jerusalem. Refrain When the last goodbye is spoken And the tear stains wiped away, And our eyes shall catch a glimpse of glory fair, Then with bounding hearts we’ll meet Him Who hath washed our sins away, In the new Jerusalem. Refrain When we join the ransomed army In the summer land above, And the face of our dear Savior we behold, We will sing and shout forever, And we’ll grow in perfect love, In the new Jerusalem. Refrain

Bon Voyage… I’m Free
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free I’m following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee God wanted me now; He set me free.
