PSALMS 91
Comforting words read by Sis. Merle every night
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold And see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, Even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, And shew him my salvation.

OBITUARY
erle Joyce Hayle was born on April 15, 1943. After a few months of declining health, she passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 78. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. She was born in Labyrinth, St Mary, Jamaica, West Indies. In her early years, Merle was converted in the early 60’s and became a member of Pentecostal Tabernacle of Wildman Street. On completing her education she worked in the childcare industry. In 1977, Merle migrated to the United States and became a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Miami for 19 years. Merle later became a dedicated member of Pentecostal Tabernacle of North Miami until her death. During this time she was deeply committed to whatever she could do. She served as an usher at the church and volunteered at the Food Bank on Tuesdays as often as she could. In 1977, after migrating to the United States, she worked as a book binder at Redi Printing Company for 15 years and then transitioned to nursing care until her retirement. She took pride in taking care of her patients. The last seven years she worked for two patients until her retirement. The family often complimented her for her dedication and care of their parents. Merle’s parents, Stanford and Ivy Henry, preceded her in death along with two of her siblings, Mavis Lawrence and Winston Henry. She has five living siblings Joscelyn Davis, Doret Green, Joyce Webb, Douet Henry, and Harry Henry. Merle was blessed with a loving family. She was married in 1962 and they raised three children with the love of God, patience, discipline, and humility. From the very beginning, she dedicated her children to God and encouraged them to explore the beauty of the gospels, leading them to baptism in the Name of Jesus. She instilled many life lessons that have positively transformed their adult lives both spiritually and educationally. Merle also played an instrumental part in raising most of her grandchildren. Her faith in God was unwavering and she worshipped with every fiber of her being. She was of a meek and quiet spirit and loved God with a sweet spirit. One of Merle’s favorite scripture verses was: Psalms 91:1 - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Merle leaves behind children: Lishon Bryan (Andrew), Kirk Hayle (Rachel), and Lesley Hayle. She was the proud grandmother of Aaron Bryan, Austin Bryan, Ashton Bryan, Kirsten Bryan, Kyle Hayle, and Kaitlyn Hayle. She also leaves behind five siblings mentioned above, numerous extended family members, friends, and her Pentab church family. Merle will be remembered forever for her love of God, care for others, as an encourager, and for her unconditional love for her family and friends.
THANK YOU We are grateful for all the support and prayers that have been extended to us in our season of loss. Special thanks to The Pentecostal Tabernacle church family. Our mom loved this church and everyone as her own family. She was a blessing to everyone that she encountered and you all blessed her in return. Thank you for everything and continue to keep us in your prayers.
