Tamryn was born on October 6, 2016, in Tampa, Florida, to her loving parents, Terrance and Ashanda Lee.

Tamryn was an incredibly smart and bright young girl who brought joy and happiness to everyone she met. Her infectious smile, vibrant spirit, and boundless energy made her a bright star wherever she went. Tamryn, affectionately known as Tam-Tam loved singing, dancing, fashion, and making people smile. She dreamed of becoming a YouTuber, living in Chicago, traveling to Paris, and finding a cure for cancer.

Tamryn’s love for learning was evident from an early age, and she excelled academically throughout her short but impactful life. Tamryn began her educational journey at Bright Horizons, where she completed VPK with enthusiasm and excellence. She then attended kindergarten at Winthrop Charter Elementary, where her passion for learning continued to flourish. Tamryn completed 1st grade at 1Voice Academy, where she truly shined as a student and blossomed into a beautiful young lady. Her intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn inspired everyone around her.

While attending school, Tamryn developed lifelong friendships and had a remarkable ability to impact everyone she met. Her warm heart, compassionate nature, and zest for life left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Tamryn’s love for God was profound and unwavering. She had her own Bible, which she read every day, and she loved to share the message of God’s love with her classmates. She often witnessed to her schoolmates about the goodness of God and the sacrifices Jesus made for her. Tamryn was dedicated to the Lord on July 15, 2024, and she had a deep desire to be baptized in the name of Jesus, fully understanding its significance.

In addition to her academic and spiritual pursuits, Tamryn was also a talented jewelry designer. She created her jewelry collection, known as the Tam Collection, in partnership with Kendra Scott and Tampa General Children’s Hospital. Her collection has raised the most money to date for the hospital, making a lasting impact on the lives of many children.

Tamryn’s love for her community extended beyond her jewelry design. She served as an honorary captain for the Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Rays and represented the Tampa Police as the Team Blue Ambassador for the annual Badge Bowl charity football game. Her dedication to helping others and her vibrant personality touched the hearts of everyone she met.

Tamryn cherished her role as a big sister to her beloved younger brother, Ashton. She often read with him, cooked breakfast for him, and made sure he stayed on his best behavior. They were truly best friends and shared countless moments of joy and playfulness together.

Tamryn’s legacy is one of love, light, and inspiration. Though her time with us was brief, the memories we shared with her will be cherished forever. She will always be remembered for her bright smile, her loving spirit, and the profound impact she had on the lives of so many. Her spirit was indomitable, and she faced every challenge with grace and fortitude. She inspired all who knew her with her ability to persevere and her unyielding faith.

Tamryn was preceded in death by: her great-grandparents, Jimmie and Ollie Johnson, Dorothy Seymore, and Clayton Borders; great-uncle, John Barrett.

Your radiant smile and infectious spirit were gifts that we cherished deeply, and now, as we grapple with the sorrow of your passing, we hold tight to those beautiful memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Tamryn, you had an extraordinary ability to light up any room you entered. Your kindness, compassion, and genuine love for others were evident in everything you did. Whether it was your hearty laughter during family gatherings or your comforting words during times of need, you had a way of making everyone feel special and loved.

Your resilience and strength were truly inspiring. Your unfaltering positivity and grace in the face of adversity made an everlasting impression on everyone around you. You taught us the true meaning of courage and the importance of cherishing every single moment.

We remember the times we spent together with fondness and gratitude. The shared stories, the laughter, the quiet moments of understanding—each memory is a testament to the beautiful soul you were. You brought so much happiness into our lives, and your absence leaves a void that can never be filled. But in our hearts, you will always remain, a guiding light and a source of endless inspiration.

Though our hearts ache with the pain of losing you, we find solace in knowing that you are at peace, embraced by the love of those who have gone before you. Your spirit will live on in the love you left behind, in the lessons you taught us, and in the countless lives you touched.

Tamryn, you will forever be missed, but your legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire us every day. We promise to honor your memory by living our lives with the same joy and compassion that you so effortlessly shared with the world.

Rest in eternal peace, dear Tamryn. You will always be in our hearts, now and forever.

Our dearest Tamryn,

From the moment you entered our lives, your presence brought a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment. Your beaming smile brought delight to everyone you met, and your laughter was like a melody that filled our house with warmth. Our hearts swelled with pride as we witnessed your transformation from an energetic little girl into an extraordinary young woman, an embodiment of poise, compassion, and unfaltering resilience.

You were more than a daughter to us, Tamryn; you were the source of our joy, our pride, and our biggest gift. Your unfaltering will motivated us to improve ourselves, love more profoundly, and treasure every time we spent with you, and your caring nature affected the lives of those around you. We are very grateful for the profound impact you had on our lives.

As we reflect on the countless memories we shared – the laughter, the tears, the triumphs, and the challenges – we are reminded of the profound impact you had on us and on all who had the privilege of knowing you. We will always look to you as an example of how to face each day with the same poise and bravery that you shown; your legacy of kindness, generosity, and perseverance will shine a light on our path.

We are comforted to know that you are at rest, bathed in love and light in paradise, even if we must now say goodbye. The light of your soul will remain in our hearts, illuminating our path through the shadows and serving as a constant reminder of the strength and wonder of love that has no bounds.

Tamryn, our beloved daughter, you will always hold a special place in our hearts, and your memory will be cherished for all eternity. Rest in peace, sweet angel, knowing that you are loved beyond measure and that your legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know you.

With all our love and eternal devotion, Mom and Dad (Terrance and Ashanda Lee)

A TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED GRANDDAUGHTER FROM CARLA LOTT

My Dearest Tamryn,

As I sit down to write this tribute, my heart is heavy with sorrow, but also filled with the love and joy you brought into my life. From the moment you were born, you became the light of our family, and I feel incredibly blessed to have been your grandmother.

I remember the first time I held you in my arms. You were so tiny, so perfect. Your eyes sparkled with curiosity and wonder, and I knew that you would grow up to be a remarkable young woman. You did not disappoint. Every day of your life, you filled us with pride and joy.

Your laughter was like music that could brighten even the gloomiest of days. You had a way of finding joy in the simplest things, whether it was helping clean around the house, baking cookies with me in the kitchen, or simply sitting on my lap as we read your favorite stories. Your zest for life was infectious, and your smile could light up a room.

As you grew older, I marveled at your strength, your kindness, and your compassion. You had a heart of gold, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. You touched the lives of so many people, and your kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who knew you.

You were not just my granddaughter; you were my friend and my confidante. We shared so many special moments together, moments that I will cherish forever. Whether we were talking about your dreams for the future or reminiscing about the past, our time together was always filled with love and warmth.

Your passing has left a void in our lives that can never be filled. It is hard to imagine a world without you in it. But as I grieve, I also find solace in the beautiful memories we created together. I am grateful for every moment we shared, every hug, every laugh, and every tear.

My dear Tamryn, you may no longer be with us in body, but your spirit will live on in our hearts forever. You have left an indelible mark on this world, and your legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all.

As I say goodbye, I want you to know how much I love you. I am so proud of the person you became, and I am honored to have been your grandmother. I will carry your memory with me always, and I will strive to live my life in a way that honors the beautiful soul you were.

Rest in peace, my precious granddaughter. Until we meet again, may you find eternal peace and happiness in the arms of the angels.

With all my love, Carla Lott

TO THE WORLD’S GREATEST BIG SISTER, Tamryn, thank you for being such a good big sister to me. I loved playing with you. My favorite game was running around the house with you chasing me. You always made sure I was never without Cocomelon or Paw Patrol. If you had a snack, you made sure I had one as well. Thank you for reading stories to me, helping tuck me in at night, and letting me hang out in your room sometimes.

I love you, Ashton John Lee

TRIBUTE TO TAMRYN FROM MA-MA AND PA-PA

As grandparents, we can’t find the words to express how great our love for Tamryn is, as well as the wealth of joy that she continues to bring as we reflect on some of our many and beautiful memories.

Tamryn’s presence always brought a delightful energy and a ray of sunshine. Her spirit radiated with love, kindness, leadership, determination, thoughtfulness and fun! Teasingly, she was sometimes discreetly referred to as the “Boss Lady”.

She amazed us as to how mature she was socially...at an earlier age she could initiate and carry the conversation with adults with ease. She was so social that she would not only give all of her many many dolls names, she could actually remember their names. Tamryn was not only beautiful, she was extremely smart. She was always in the mode of seeking greater understanding and greater knowledge. She loved singing, dancing, gymnastics, swimming, drawing and reading.

When asked what she enjoyed most about the Holiday celebrations, she said she loved being with her family! And she did!! We will not only miss your hugs, but everything about you Tamryn. In particular MaMa will miss preparing the fruits, grits, and baked beans for you and our cooking and reading time. PaPa will miss taking orders from the boss lady, calling you Tang and being called Tang by you.

We will always love you, MaMa & PaPa
