PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
December has arrived and it’s my favorite time of the year. We have a lot going on this month. Our Christmas Auction will be December 2 and it’s an event not to be missed! Janice Pribble and her committee hav ing been going nonstop creating baskets filled with gifts and preparing the items donated by our members. The Silent Auction starts at 9:00 a.m. and promises to be exciting and lots-of-fun. With Christmas just around the corner, you’ll find something for everyone. The Audible Auction is entertaining with Councilman Jeff Copeland, Auctioneer.
PRESIDENT Judy Ingram
Our bake sale will include an assortment of delicious cookies, candy, cakes and pies. In the past years, our live auction items have been hits, and this year is more of the same. Jean Van Schaick and her committee will provide a lovely lunch for us. Not only is it delicious, but the presentation is delightful. Debbie Beaudin and her committee are decorating the building. Everyone that has attended an event at the Woman’s Club, can attest to the beauty of the deco rations. If you have not made your reservation, please call 972-264-2320 for you and your guest. There is no charge for the luncheon for you and your guest, but we need a firm headcount for meal planning.
If you are contemplating giving a gift to honor a loved one or remember a special person in your life, please consider donating money to the Scholarship Fund. For your convenience, there is a form included in the Newsletter.
The holiday is almost here. It’s hard to believe 2022 is almost over. In closing, we wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and Happy 2023 New Year.
