Fall is almost here!
Pumpkins, leaves that are starting to turn (the one’s that didn’t fall
because of the heat this summer), apples, hot chocolate, and a fire in the fireplace are what I think of. After this extremely hot summer, the cool air of fall that is on its way is what I’m looking forward to the most!
October 7, 2022 will be our first General Meeting of this year. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will include both our members and our guests, the Grand Prairie Retired School Person nel. It’s a chance for us to meet these women and men that have given so much and helped the youth of Grand Prairie to grow into productive adults. The program will be “The Art of Communi ty,” presented by Amber Zukerman, Arlington Museum of Art.
October 22, 2022 is The Woman’s Club Tour of Tables. Those of you that were there last year, can attest to how beautiful each table was. The theme of each table is decided by the designer and is, therefore, unique and one-of-a-kind. The Tour of Tables will be held at The Woman’s Club of Grand Prairie, 1 Park Square North, Grand Prairie, Texas, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. There will be a des sert bar and self-serve tea buffet. This is an event you won’t want to miss!
Our club is comprised of an exceptional group of women! Some have been members since the club began. We welcome new members!
