Corchran, Inc. was founded in Waseca, MN in 1949 by brothers Jim and Roger Corchran. Corchran, Inc. is 100% employee-owned, establishing an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) in 1988. Corchran, Inc. has 45 full-Ɵme employees working in their facility. The facility has 78,000 square feet of manufacturing space and warehouse space of 15,000 square feet. The pride of ownership reŇects in the excepƟonal work habits of their dedicated employees, resulƟng with improved producƟvity and ensured quality workmanship. As owners, all employees beneĮt from the eīorts of each other towards achieving customer saƟsfacƟon. Corchran, Inc. is ISO 9001:2008 cerƟĮed. They are a full service metal fabricaƟon job shop that can handle products all the way through the manufacturing process; from ordering the raw materials and purchase parts to packaging and shipping the Įnished products directly to their customers. Their services include: CNC laser cuƫng, CNC punching, CNC forming, CNC

machining, cerƟĮed welding, roboƟc welding, equipment assembly, shot blasƟng and painƟng. Materials worked with include: carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. They work closely with their customers to establish the most cost eīecƟve order quanƟƟes in conjuncƟon with the most eīecƟve part/product inventory levels to meet the lead Ɵme demands of their customers. Their manufacturing capabiliƟes range from laser cut piece parts to complex assembled Įnished products that are shipped both naƟonally and internaƟonally. Corchran, Inc. has an on-site CWI (CerƟĮed Weld Inspector) and holds AWS and ASME welding cerƟĮcaƟons. Recently added capabiliƟes include a 220 (US) ton Bystronic press brake and Bluco modular precision weld tooling.

Imperial PlasƟcs specializes in plasƟc injecƟon molding, two-shot molding, high pressure injecƟon molding, low pressure mulƟ nozzle structural foam and in-mold decoraƟng. The company was founded in 1968 in Lakeville, MN. Imperial PlasƟcs employs over 700 people at its faciliƟes thru out Minnesota; including Lakeville, St. Paul, Mora, and Mankato. Locally, Imperial employs over 150 people in posiƟons such as press operators, set up technicians, quality assurance advisors, material handlers, and warehouse technicians. In its assembly operaƟons in Mankato, Imperial has also been able to employ workers from MRCI’s physically challenged and its growing refugee populaƟon. Imperial PlasƟcs, in its conƟnued paƩern of growth, has acquired 5 plasƟc injecƟon molders since 1997. In 2012, the company acquired Rolco, Inc. in Kasota, Minnesota and opened

Advanced Manufacturing Core South Central College’s advanced manufacturing programs provide students with career pathways that include opportuniƟes for earning portable, stackable credenƟals. Students in the Mechatronics, Computer Integrated Machining and Welding programs will complete four courses (eight credits) that align with the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council CerƟĮed ProducƟon Technician (CPT) cerƟĮcate. The CPT cerƟĮcate consists of four industryrecognized assessments—Safety, Quality PracƟces & Measurement, Manufacturing Processes & ProducƟon and Maintenance Awareness—that emphasize the development of core skills and knowledge for front-line industrial workers.

Mechatronics Mechatronics is a conƟnually growing Įeld that includes installing and maintaining computer-controlled

systems, machinery and equipment. South Central College’s Mechatronics program provides comprehensive instrucƟon and hands-on experience with mechanical systems, electronics, Ňuid power, automaƟon and roboƟcs. The Mechatronics program also oīers a unique opƟon, iMEC, that enables you to get your degree anyƟme, anywhere by taking online classes while gaining hands-on experience with a mechatronics lab kit, simulaƟons and remote access to SCC’s automaƟon lab. Computer Integrated Machining South Central College’s Computer Integrated Machining (CIM) program uƟlizes analyƟcs and automaƟon in the precision manufacturing process to take a product from design to Įnish. It includes a combinaƟon of classroom instrucƟon and hands-on applicaƟon in machining labs that feature state-of-the-art equipment. Welding A Welding cerƟĮcate and diploma from South Central College puts you on the way to a skilled trade career in manufacturing. ■ Quality Products, a subsidiary of MRCI WorkSource, was founded in 2010 with the purpose of providing steady employment to people with disabiliƟes. ■ Quality Products packages candy in bags, tubs, and tubes, and ships approximately six million units of candy to stores naƟonwide every year. ■ In 2013, Quality Products moved from St. Peter to Kasota in an eīort to accommodate an increasing need for inventory and equipment space.

Quality Products, LLC ships millions of candy packages each year from Kasota, Minnesota. The company specializes in unique forms of packaging, and supplies naƟonal retailers, regional chains, and small independently own stores with a variety of candy packed in bags, tubes, and tubs. Last year, Quality Products packaged and shipped approximately 6 million units of packaged candy. Quality Products is a subsidiary of MRCI WorkSource, a leader in the Įeld of adult rehabilitaƟon, and employment training. Quality Products was created in 2010 with the purpose of providing stable employment to people with disabiliƟes. All Quality Products non-bagged candy items are hand weighed and Įlled, labeled, and then cased by some of the more than 4,000 people served by MRCI WorkSource. Even with bagged items, the only automaƟon involved is the actual

bagging. The labeling and casing the bags for shipment is also done by people with disabiliƟes. The goal of Quality Products is to provide customers with fresh, quality candy packaged to their speciĮc requirements.
