The claim by lawyers will be that it is discriminatory to allow undocumented immigrants to vote in local and state elections and not for members of congress and for president. at bottom this is what the entire immigration debate is about. The former head of immigration and customs Enforcement (icE) was interviewed last week on Fox news. Thomas Homan had some important things to say about calls by the left to dismantle the agency. "What's incredible," Homan said, "is these politicians, members of the legislature, would much rather abolish a law enforcement agency than fix the law. ... icE is enforcing the laws they enacted." That's because politicians, who often pass laws that exempt

Just search for "Southside Barber Kona" in Google Images and you'll see the fame this little guy had. His legacy and association to the Barbershop will live on. JC got into cutting hair at a young age. He first started cutting his own hair to save money. Then once he saw the demand for barbers he opened his own shop. Dontae works at the shop full time and is also a certified barber teacher in Ohio and PA. He has enjoyed watching his students grow into full time barbers and looks forward to working with them at his shop in Gibsonia. Keyen is the third barber at the Gibsonia location. Keyen is in the Air National Gaurd and works part time at the shop. Between the three of these guys, you'll never run out of stories or things to talk about, making this shop a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. BASEBALL IS FUN AGAIN IN PITTSBURGH ... BUT NOT FOR EVERYONE IT'S ALMOST AUGUST and suddenly your Pittsburgh Pirates find themselves relevant in the National League Wild Card Race. How great. Except if you own the team! The Pirates are sitting four games back of a playoff spot after winning ten straight games (as of Monday), making them a legitimate contender no matter how you slice it up. The city is starting to buzz over the team but unlike recent successful seasons, the fans are keeping their excitement to themselves. Just a few months ago, Owner, Bob Nutting went under wrath again for showing the city's favorite star, Andrew McCutchen the door. McCutchen was underpaid the past few years and it was time he cashed in, deservingly so. He wanted to spend his whole career in Pittsburgh and was well on his way to having a statue outside PNC Park for all of his personal and team accolades. There was never an ounce of controversy around McCutchen and he was widely seen as the player who gave the team a shot in the arm after 20 years of losing. Once Nutting passed on securing up his best and beloved player in the 2017 off season, the fans turned against the owner. However, in all fairness, McCutchen's replacement, Corey Dickerson, has put up high numbers and can be seen as the Pirate’s best player. Bob Nutting now has a chance to win back trust from the fans.
How? Make a surprise trade and bring someone in who can help the team now. Sure, this isn't the best Pirate team we have seen in recent years, but a bunch of these kids don't know how to lose...so feed them! The Pirates payroll ranks 25th out of the 30 MLB teams, which goes to show the coaching and management has done well with little to work with so far. So why not give this city a shot in the arm and grab one or two players before the trade deadline. Fans are hesitant to get excited this time round because they have had their hearts ripped out too many times. Even if they don't make the playoffs, a player here or there will increase attendance immediately. Nobody wants to hear "building for the future," because fans can see right through these passive promises. Once the "future" came in 2015 when the Pirates won 98 games and broke their all time attendance record there were no midseason moves to elevate the team. That summer was magical...but...they couldn't squeeze by the Wild Card game...for a second straight year. 2015 is when ownership should have went all in and made a serious run at the World Series. SUNDAY RED TURNS INTO SUNDAY BLUES FOR TIGER TIGER WOODS HAS ONCE AGAIN captivated the golf world this past weekend at the British Open in Carnoustie. The TV ratings were the highest they have been in over 20 years. I will be the first to admit that I thought Woods’ shot at another major championship was looming after all his injuries and off the course problems the past few years. In 2018 he has shown that he is healthy and capable of competing with the young guns of the game by finishing in the top ten four times this year. Woods has 79 career tournament wins and 14 major tournament wins, four shy of the famous Jack Nicklaus' 18. Will Tiger win another major championship, catch Jack Nicklaus and stay healthy? There's a chance he may never win again, but you can bet we will all turn on our tvs if he is in contention on any given Sunday. A lot of people point to the rise of play by all the young studs in the
