Available in two-hour time blocks, each party rental includes a playing surface as well as an eating/seating area to enjoy your cake! Choose from dozens of available courses or choose one of the simulated driving ranges and break-down your swing statistics. Kids can play too with games like skee-ball and miniature golf. MAIN TURF FIELD

A regulation futsal size indoor turf field, for open turf time as well as scheduled programs and leagues in sports such as futsal, soccer, badminton, lacrosse and more. Bleacher seating for nearly 200 spectators, as well as overlook seating from the lobby is available to watch the events on the field. *No Cleats on Turf

AUXILIARY TURF FIELD

This smaller version of our main turf field can host tiny soccer, bocce, aerobics/boot camp classes, among other programs, and leagues. *No Cleats on Turf

MAIN GYMNASIUM

Sanded down and completely refinished, we were able to preserve the floors from the old Greenwood Middle School gymnasium. Newly lined for four pickleball courts, one volleyball court, one full-court and two short-court basketball courts, and with seating for over 300 spectators, the options for this playing surface are plentiful.

PRACTICE COURT

This court is lined for volleyball and pickleball and includes four basketball goals that can be lowered to eight feet. Rentable for birthday parties or private lessons.

WALKING TRACK

Take a lap, or ten on our 1/10th of a mile elevated walking track! Enjoy views of the basketball courts below as you walk. Stop off on some of the pieces of stretching or fitness equipment located on the inside of the track and create your own fitness circuit workout. Walking track is included in day pass admission.

FENCING

Have you ever wanted to try your hand with a sword? Here’s your opportunity with this exciting new program. Students will learn the basics of fencing: footwork, blade work, rules and tactics, as well as participating in fun fencing games. This class is taught by Anthony Joslin, a trainer of the 2013 US Youth National Champion. Rent the necessary protective gear (head piece, chest piece and gloves) for just $20 per session. MONTESSORI BEGINNINGS

Montessori Beginnings is a Montessori playgroup for babies and toddlers from birth through two years of age with a caregiver. The young children explore the environment, practice self-feeding with a nutritious snack, then join parents for circle time that includes singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments.

Little Pretenders will be focused on careers Waitress, veterinarian, hair stylist, scientists and more. The class will learn about a different profession each week and then get a chance to pretend with various toys and props. There will be a focus on sharing and working together. TINY TRIPS

Keep Kid City at the Greenwood Community Center in mind for upcoming field trip opportunities for your preschoolers or kindergarteners. We allow groups during regular business hours at a cost of $5 per child. Additionally, we offer a program called “Tiny Trips.” These more formalized field trips last 90 minutes, allowing 60 minutes of play time in Kid City and approx. 30 minutes for an organized program led by our Youth Programming and Activities Coordinator for your group. Cost is just $5 per child and should be paid in one lump payment for your group prior to or upon arrival the day of your field trip. “Tiny Trips” are generally available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and can be booked directly with Erin Swisher, Youth Programming and Activities Coordinator at 317.883.8066. Ideal adult to child ratio is 1:5 at a minimum.

Dog Parks Become a dog park member and let your fourlegged friends run free, find new playmates or test their agility skills on various obstacles. Dog Parks are open from dawn to dusk 365 days a year. Registration information: • Annual membership is $50 per dog, per tag. ($45 for Greenwood residents) • Proof of current dog vaccinations must be provided at registration. • Owners must register their dogs at the Greenwood Community Center or Greenwood Fieldhouse Dog Park Guidelines: • All dogs must have current membership tag. • Children under 12 are not allowed inside Dog Parks. • No more than 3 dogs per handler. • Dogs under 4 months of age are not permitted. • Owners should ALWAYS clean up after their dog. • No food or treats (human or dog) allowed in dog parks. • Dog owners are legally responsible for their dogs. GREENWOOD PARKS FOUNDATION

Created in 2019 to support Greenwood’s Parks & Recreation Department, the Greenwood Parks Foundation strives to preserve, protect and enhance public parks, green spaces and recreational programming throughout the city to improve the quality of life for all residents. Greenwood’s Parks & Recreation Department currently cares for 14 parks spanning 271 acres, more than 20 miles of linear trails and a variety of high-quality recreational facilities including Freedom Springs Aquatic Center, The Greenwod Fieldhouse, and the Greenwood Community Center, home to Kid City and The Gym. The Foundation’s goal is to help the Parks Department grow, cultivate, expand and improve its facilities and programming to provide all with access to green spaces, outdoor fun and creative programming.

Refund Policy 1.

Full Refunds will be made upon cancellation of a class or activity by the Parks & Recreation Department

2.

No refunds will be given after the class/ program or event begins. The only exception is an injury, which prohibits participation in the class/program. The refund is subject to prorating and must be claimed before the end of the program.

3.

Rental cancellations (for any reason including weather) must be made a minimum of 10 business days in advance to receive a refund of the rental fee. Cancellations shall be assessed a $10 or 15% Administration Fee for processing.

4.

All refunds will be issued through the city claim process that takes approximately 1-2 weeks.

Inclement Weather Policy

If Greenwood Community Schools close due to inclement weather, Before/After School will not be held. If schools are on a two-hour delay Before School will still be held and buses will pick up children from the Greenwood Fieldhouse at the appropriate time. If the Mayor declares a snow emergency, all Parks & Recreation facilities and programs will be closed or canceled. Any other weatherrelated cancellations or delays will be posted on Facebook and our Greenwood Parks & Recreation App.

Annual Membership Passes to all of the Greenwood Parks and Recrea�on Dog Parks and Recrea�on Dog Parks are issued for a one-year period and are good for 365 days from the date of purchase. The number of Annual Membership Passes sold each year will be limited to 500 dogs, and memberships will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. **All owners/members must be atleast eighteen (18) years of age, and present proof of current vaccina�ons for their dogs as part of the membership applica�on process. Greenwood Dog Park Membership Rules & E�que�e: Use of the Greenwood Parks Dog Parks are not a right, but is a privilege. Please do not allow unacceptable or irresponsible behavior to ruin the experience for others. The Greenwood Parks Dog Parks strive to provide a fun environment for owners and their dogs. By using the Dog Parks, users must understand that they assume all responsibility and liability for the risks of unleashing their dog(s) in this facility. Greenwood Parks Dog Parks are not a supervised facility. Users therefore are required to abide by the rules and etiquette at all times while on the premises. Owners and individuals accompanying them use the facility entirely at their own risk and that of their dogs. The future of these facilities and others like it depends on members behaving responsibly and obeying all the rules. Canines and their owners are expected to behave with common courtesy and respect for the property as well as other park users. We realize that owner socialization is a great added value to the experience, but please remember that the dog owner’s first priority is the proper supervision of his/her dog.
