A regulation futsal size indoor turf field, for open turf time as well as scheduled programs and leagues in sports such as futsal, soccer, badminton, lacrosse and more. Bleacher seating for nearly 200 spectators, as well as overlook seating from the lobby is available to watch the events on the field.

MAIN GYMNASIUM
Sanded down and completely refinished, we were able to preserve the floors from the old Greenwood Middle School gymnasium. Newly lined for four pickleball courts, one volleyball court, one full-court and two short-court basketball courts, and with seating for over 300 spectators, the options for this playing surface are plentiful.
PRACTICE COURT
This court is lined for volleyball and pickleball and includes four basketball goals that can be lowered to eight feet. Rentable for birthday parties or private lessons.
WALKING TRACK
Take a lap, or ten on our 1/10th of a mile elevated walking track! Enjoy views of the basketball courts below as you walk. Stop off on some of the pieces of stretching or fitness equipment located on the inside of the track and create your own fitness circuit workout. Walking track is included in day pass admission.

Have you ever wanted to try your hand with a sword? Here’s your opportunity with this exciting new program. Students will learn the basics of fencing: footwork, blade work, rules and tactics, as well as participating in fun fencing games. GREENWOOD SPORTS PARK
The Greenwood Sports Park is a state-of-the-art baseball/softball facility inclusive of eight fully-lit diamonds, all with artificial turf infields and natural grass outfields. The park also features an inclusive playground, the city’s second splash pad, a multi-use playing field, and a multi-use trail system throughout. Greenwood Parks & Recreation will be able to grow and enhance youth and adult programs extensively as a result of the new fields, and host tournaments and weekend events at the park.

PAWS FOR PARKS
Created in 2019 to support Greenwood’s Parks & Recreation Department, the Greenwood Parks Foundation strives to preserve, protect and enhance public parks, green spaces and recreational programming throughout the city to improve the quality of life for all residents.
Greenwood’s Parks & Recreation Department currently cares for 14 parks spanning 271 acres, more than 20 miles of linear trails and a variety of high-quality recreational facilities including Freedom Springs Aquatic Center, The Greenwod Fieldhouse, and the Greenwood Community Center, home to Kid City and The Gym. The Foundation’s goal is to help the Parks Department grow, cultivate, expand and improve its facilities and programming to provide all with access to green spaces, outdoor fun and creative programming.

• A Greenwood city resident must have a valid driver’s license as a proof of residency in order to be charged the resident rate. All persons without proper identification will be charged the nonresident rate until residency can be established.

Participation in or attendance at programs or events sponsored by the Greenwood Parks & Recreation Department (the “Department”) constitutes the voluntary consent of the participant or attendee to be photographed, interviewed, audio recorded, and video recorded by the Department representative and the release, publication, exhibition, reproduction and use of all such photographs, digital images, recordings and likenesses for publicity purposes in publications, brochures, advertisements, promotional and marketing materials, news, web casts, inclusion on websites, social media or any other purpose by the City of Greenwood and it’s affiliates and representatives all without further notice or compensation to participant or attendee who hereby releases to the Department all proprietary rights and copyrights in all such photographs, digital images, recordings and likenesses (including negatives, positives and prints) which shall be and remain the property of the Department.
If you see your picture anywhere in this brochure, call the Greenwood Community Center to receive a complimentary Parks Pass.

Refund Policy
1. Full Refunds will be made upon cancellation of a class or activity by the Parks & Recreation Department

Program confirmations will be mailed. Please register in person to join a session that has already started.

Register Early!
Most programs have limited space available as well as registration deadlines. After the registration deadline please call for space availability.
2. No refunds will be given after the class/ program or event begins. The only exception is an injury, which prohibits participation in the class/program. The refund is subject to prorating and must be claimed before the end of the program.
3. Rental cancellations (for any reason including weather) must be made a minimum of 10 business days in advance to receive a refund of the rental fee. Cancellations shall be assessed a $10 or 15% Administration Fee for processing.
4. All refunds will be issued through the city claim process that takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
Inclement Weather Policy
If Greenwood Community Schools close due to inclement weather, Before/After School will not be held. If schools are on a two-hour delay Before School will still be held and buses will pick up children from the Greenwood Fieldhouse at the appropriate time. If the Mayor declares a snow emergency, all Parks & Recreation facilities and programs will be closed or canceled. Any other weatherrelated cancellations or delays will be posted on Facebook and our Greenwood Parks & Recreation App.

Annual Membership Passes to all of the Greenwood Parks and Recrea�on Dog Parks and Recrea�on Dog Parks are issued for a one-year period and are good for 365 days from the date of purchase. The number of Annual Membership Passes sold each year will be limited to 500 dogs, and memberships will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis **All owners/members must be atleast eighteen (18) years of age, and present proof of current vaccina�ons for their dogs as part of the membership applica�on process Owners/members are responsible for keeping their dogs’ vaccina�ons current and up-yo-date at all �mes. Members may visit the Dog Parks during regular park hours, from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year The Greenwood Parks Department reserves the right to close the Dog Parks at any �me for maintenance purposes. An annual Membership Pass consists of a collar tag for each dog, and a proximity reader for the owner. The collar tag must be visible on the dog while using the off leash zone. The tag for each dog is Fi�y Dollars ($50.00) per dog, per tag. Greenwood City Residents will be given a discounted membership fee of Forty-Five Dollars ($45.00) per dog, per tag. Only one proximity reader is allowed per household.

The Greenwood Parks Dog Parks strive to provide a fun environment for owners and their dogs. By using the Dog Parks, users must understand that they assume all responsibility and liability for the risks of unleashing their dog(s) in this facility. Greenwood Parks Dog Parks are not a supervised facility. Users therefore are required to abide by the rules and etiquette at all times while on the premises. Own ers and individuals accompanying them use the facility entirely at their own risk and that of their dogs.
