EDITOR S L E T T E R The mystic concept of spirits and ghosts inspired our 10th edition theme. The mystery surrounding this theme and the uncertainty revolving around it allowed us to construct the narrative for our editorials. The narrative diverts through haunted locations that exposes the existence of the spirits residing in those abandoned places. The design section of the issue is coherent to the theme, via the use of unwanted wood pallets that can be transformed into modern pieces. The art section features the HEX:O.F.F and CHAPTERS exhibitions in Nicosia as well as the NICHT REALISIERT: IN SEARCH OF LOST EXPERIENCE in Copenhagen.

Thought this story we present the lingerie as daywear trend that we saw on the runways paired with leather and lace details.

Joiners is small workshop creating pieces from recycled wood and used pallets. The concept of giving life to something doomed is what dives them into creating original designs. The fact that something so simple as wooden pallets can be transformed into a modern piece simply fascinating.

NICHT REALISIERT: IN SEARCH OF LOST E X P E R I E N C E The exhibition Nicht Realisiert: In Search of Lost Experience stages a critical re-realisation of Cloud, a project developed between 1986-72 by the radical architecture group Coop Himmelblau. Cloud was originally planned for Documenta V, but was instead, upon non-completion, exhibited as an unfinished project at the Kunstlerhausgalereie in Vienna in 1972. Including a specially commissioned short film, documentation of the original project as well as newly produced components, Nicht Realisiert will act as both supplements and intervention to the original project. The exhibition will question the role and status of the architectural user in Coop Himmelblau’s early performative installations, and use the space between archival documentation memory and fiction to produce a new narrative of individual experience.

H A R R I S E P A M I N O N D A CHAPT E R S This is Epaminonda’s first solo exhibition in Cyprus, focusing primarily on her film Chapters, her most elaborate film project to date, filmed in various locations in Cyprus last autumn and created in close collaboration with Point Centre for Contemporary Art. Haris Epaminonda often uses pre-existing materials, assembling them in ways to create works, multi-layered installations and videos that remain enigmatic while defying classification. Her works rather suggest a flattening of the hierarchy between things offering a place where illusion coexists with the tangible, and where each thing can be read and examined on a single plane.
