STUDENTS : GO EXCHANGE GLOBAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME Youth take part in Volunterr Traineeships that provide societal impact to communities all over the world by either working or in project powered by local NGOs.

GLOBAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

Through the Global Internship Program, youth get the chance to work in small to large companies in various industries gaining valuable professional development - something incredibly sought after given the uncertainty for youth employment in the domestic labour market at present. We are expecting to send 400 youth or recent graduates on life changing experiences this year - that’s more than the organisation has ever done before.

18,000+students participate in lifechanging experiences worldwide

Central&Eastern Europe :

Central and Eastern Europe has proven to be a dream destination of choice for our student volunteers. Majority of our exchange participants have been to Poland to run workshops about home country, presenting culture and tradition, in the project call “Explore Yourself” Other destination of this region are Hungary, Italy, Russia, Bulgaria, and Romania.

Mainland of China :

The Redwings Project aims to educate rural areas about HIV and AIDS whist Dare to Dream aims to help disadvantaged children broaden their horizons and strive for a higher quality of life. China has also provided many British students the chance to work in finance, marketing and teaching in its larger cities.

Taiwan :

This year AIESEC Thailand and AIESEC Taiwan have collaborated together in order to develop our program delivery. This is mutually beneficial as in years gone since, many of our student volunteers have found the culture so very enticing. The most exciting project we’ve been working with Taiwan on is Embrace Taiwan-Discover inner beauty of Taiwan.

SOCIAL PROJECT

Sawaddee Thailand Project As AIESEC in Thailand has committed to create positive impact to the society, AIESEC in Thailand has designed a huge project called Sawaddee Thailand Project which is aimed to provide the cross-cultural education and English education for the youth in rural area of Thailand. We provide a platform for them to prepare themselves to be a part of the global ccommunity, especially ASEAN community. Also, we provide opportunities for international youth who want to gain personal and professional development by challenging themselves to get out of their comfort zone and expanding their world-view through this social project. Sawasdee Thailand Project will be carried out in schools and communities/rural areas of Ayutthaya Province, Srisaket Province, Prachinburi Province, Chaiyaphum Province, Samut Prakan Province and Ang Thong Province. Most of the students are aged between 7-18 years. One or two interns will work in each school. Each class has about 20-30 students. The project will run for 6-7 weeks in total. The Interns will mainly focus on sharing their culture and teaching basic English i.e conversations to students in these remote schools.

What Our Volunteers Say : “During the evaluation there was “English camp”,where the students were very active to play the games using English language. I left the school with a big smile because I know I tried to do my best and I learned from students a lot as well. They showed me the beauty of everyday life and how you have to be thankful for everything you have. People I’ve met there became my friends very quickly and no matter our different cultures, languages or history we had an amazing time together. To sum up this wonderful experience I’ve had in Thailand I can strongly say that it has changed my values and forced me to set some new goals to pursue my dreams “ Venta Jackaite, Volunteer from Lithuania

“ So today stands to be my last day in Ban Nakae... it was an amazing experience, I made a lot of friends and got a huge amount of love! I pushed myself to limits and unlocked many levels in the game of life! I cannot put my feelings in words that suit them the most, but all I want to say is that I am feeling as if I am leaving my family forever, as if I have been living with these people since long! and now I know why Thailand is called "The land of smiles!
