In more than 50 years of its existence, CETT has become an international reference of academic excellence and professional services in the fields of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy. The development of specialized knowledge in tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy, through our Research Groups recognised by the Government of Catalonia (Tourism, Culture and Territory; Hospitality; Cuisine and Gastronomy) and study. The CETT-UB Business Council is the first University-Business forum for tourism, and is directed by the rector of the University of Barcelona. The Gaspar Espuña-CETT Foundation, founded in 2000 with the aim of driving education, research, and knowledge in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy, reinforces the link with the professional and institutional sector and strengthens CETT’s international perspective. SPECIALIZATION IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT The Tourist Management Specialization provides the student with an global vision; value creation; business management; tourist activities: from the conceptualization of the product or tourist service, to its own distribution and commercialization.

It includes the key areas of Business Management in the sector (economic-financial, management of people, marketing, regulatory aspects, ...), as well as the basic dimensions that support tourist activities, such as their governance, sustainability or tourism management of cultural and natural heritage.

Topic of choice: develop your own research project under the guidance of a CETT professor.
Participate in a Research Group: complete the project based on your participation in a CETT Research Group. You can also participate in interuniversity groups, carrying out a research project along with students from different countries.
Companies, bodies and institutions (national or international): : direct your SCP towards applied research or carry out an innovative, entrepreneurial project in these entities, either nationally or internationally.

CETT and the University of Barcelona, together with the Barcelona City Council and the Gaspar-Espuùa CETT Foundation have created the Chair of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy, the first university chair in tourism in the city of Barcelona. Its aim is to lead and drive research and the transfer of knowledge in the chair’s fields: tourism, hospitality and gastronomy.

PROFESSIONAL SPHERE: CETT Alumni share their own Virtual Campus where they can view job listings and where they have the Professional Directory, a customized Professional Career and Guidance service, invitations to attend University activities, and attendance at top career fairs and events created exclusively for alumni.
SOCIAL SPHERE: CETT Alumni organizes promotion dinners, discussion dinners, entertainment activities, networking events, forums, meet-ups, etc. Members are the first to receive information and enjoy special discounts. LEARNING SPACES
DINING HALL SERVICES The Forum space is a café-restaurant that promotes creativity and cultural exchange of students. It has a varied offer gastronomic, healthy, seasonal foods that adapt to different meal times. In addition, you can also have lunch in the CETT Restaurant Classroom, an à la carte restaurant with the same characteristics as a real gourmet restaurant and serves as a learning space for students.
CETT aims to create a learning context that consolidates its unique educational model, with resources that offer a high added value geared towards experience, experimentation, sharing, and learning on a unique campus. Students have different multi-purpose spaces for learning, the Fòrum, the Eidos Space, La Plaça, the Creativity and Innovation Space, the IT Classrooms, or the Reception Room, among others.
All of the CETT dining services have AMED accreditation to promote and encourage a Mediterranean diet and to facilitate choosing healthy options for our clientele.
VIRTUAL CAMPUS This tool facilitates two-way communication between faculty and students in terms of education and learning, and assistance with internships and job offers.
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES The Gaspar Espuña-CETT Foundation offers students in need, scholarships aimed at continuing their studies and promoting mobility, at the same time, the CETT Group has promoted agreements with different public and private entities in oerder to obtain scholarships and grants that facilitate students’ access to education and, in some cases, the financing of the studies.
