Spend time with the League of Women Voters of Metro Columbus and you’ll learn how to take action in your community on issues that are important to you! You’ll complete steps toward earning your Good Neighbor badge as you learn more about voting and working with others to make the world a better place.

Fairytale Ball

Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies are cordially invited to a Fairytale Ball just for Girl Scouts! Arrive in your favorite royal attire and dance to the music. Take your photo in the photo booth, grab a light snack, and complete fun activities like making your own wand, building your own castle, and more! A fun patch is included.

Let’s Talk Money! Learn how money works and how to save, spend, and share it! Your Girl Scout Daisy will understand the different kinds of coins, know more about paper money, and find out the cost of fun. Your Daisy will receive a Money Explorer badge from this program.

Tree Stories 

Through indoor games and stories, girls will explore how trees make the world a better place. The group will then head outdoors to stroll down the Story Trail. Each girl will leave with a book for their home library.

“Make the World a Better Place” Petal Workshop

Girls can celebrate Earth Day a little early at Lake Loretta beach. We will read Rosie’s Story and discuss ways to take care of the world around us. Girls will help clean up any litter along the trail and lake, then learn about spring wildflowers while earning their Rosie Petal. Girls will take home a craft to remember the day.
