Juniors and Cadettes will join our student partners from the OSU College of Pharmacy to learn about how pharmacists handle, compound, and measure medicines! ROX Strong and Worth Defending
In this signature Ruling Our eXperiences (ROX) safety and selfdefense workshop, ROX staff will teach girls critical and evidencebased verbal and physical skills that can be used in high-pressure or threatening situations. In this interactive workshop, Girl Scouts will learn statistics and common myths around harassment and violence along with tools and resources to increase communication and support in potentially difficult situations. Through this powerful and supportive all female experience, Girl Scouts will discover their strength, courage, and value. This workshop will be held outdoors in Columbus, Ohio weather permitting.

Girl Scouts Glow
At Girl Scouts Glow Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors will dance the night away, hang out with friends, and complete glow in the dark activities! Come dressed up in black light reactive clothing, so you stand out and glow in the dark! Have a “light” snack and take home a glowing art project. This program will be indoors with limited seating available. A refreshment station with light snacks and water dispensers will be available. More detailed information will be sent about two weeks prior to the event date.

MEdia Virtual Journey
Throughout five online sessions, you’ll dive into the MEdia Journey. We’ll explore how media stories are shaped, how they can shape you, and how you can reshape your community with the power of media! Program Aide Training
Program Aide (PA) Award is for Cadettes in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. A Program Aide uses leadership skills to share her interests and experiences with younger girls in a troop, group, or camp setting. To earn the Cadette Program Aide Award girls must follow these steps: 1. Earn one LiA award.
2. Complete a Council-sponsored Program Aide leadership training course. 3. Work directly with younger girls over six activity sessions. The Council membership and program staff can assist Cadettes in finding a group of Brownies and an adult volunteer to partner with.

Make a Difference Day is Saturday, October 28. Join Girl Scouts in celebrating this national day of service. You can complete community service projects with your troop or family to earn Make a Difference Day patches! You can visit one of our Council Resource Stores to purchase patches after your service. If it is your first year, you can get the main patch. If you have participated before or complete more than one project that day, you can add a helping hand rocker to your main patch.

Girl Scouting Skills Summit
Sharpen your skills! The Girl Scouting Skills Summit is an event created by Girl Scouts, for Girl Scouts! Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors are invited to participate in a variety of sessions relating to topics they’re interested in, such as self-defense, the arts, protecting the environment, mental health, future careers, and more. There will be interactive workshops as well as booths and tables to explore between sessions. The goal of the Girl Scouting Skills Summit is for Girl Scouts to engage in discovering new interests and learning skills that they will continue to use for the rest of their lives as leaders and changemakers of the future.

Calling all Cadettes! Become a skilled camper. Join us at Camp Ken-Jockety for a day-long badge earning event where girls will earn the Trailblazing badge and be just one step away from earning their Primitive Camper Badge! Girls will learn to plan a camping trip and essential camping skills like how to start a fire, Leave No Trace Principles, and some advanced outdoor cooking skills. They will even get to cook their own lunch and a snack outside!
