De hecho, aunque cueste creerlo, son capaces de convertir tu local en un bar temático en tan solo 6 días. 44 profesionales (escultores, herreros, especialistas en moldes, diseñadores, pintores, lacadores, trabajan con todo tipo de materiales: maderas, resinas, fibra de vidrio, metales…etc. Cada una de las piezas necesarias para cada proyecto de tematización (desde el rótulo que tiene en la fachada hasta el más mínimo detalle del interior).

osé Miguel Piñero dio sus primeros pasos hace 25 años, cuando apenas contaba con un espacio reducido y sin recursos materiales. Quizás lo que no se imaginaba era que en el paso del tiempo, su espacio aumentaría en un taller de 3000 m2, se convertiría en un artista de prestigio y en una empresa que trabajaría abierta al mundo.

En el 2012 creó la marca “la fábrica de ideas”, y en 2013 “Fearless Decor Concept” expandiendo la empresa al mundo. ¿Cuántos locales habéis tematizado y hasta donde habéis llegado geográficamente? A fecha de hoy, es difícil saber la cantidad exacta de proyectos realizados, pero podemos decir que se han realizado aproximadamente más de 700 locales, mayormente dentro del panorama nacional, pero también se han realizado proyectos en Suiza, Marruecos y Guinea Ecuatorial. ¿Habéis trabajado en la industria cinematográfica, cuéntanos alguna anécdota? A través de una productora alicantina, fabricamos para el largometraje “THE CORPSE GRINDERS 3” de coproducción EE.UU, “la máquina trituradora de carne”, una de las piezas principales en esta película. También hemos realizado varios decorados para los platós de algunos programas de televisión.

Diseñáis stands para ferias, y también habéis participado en ellas como expositores. ¿Qué os han aportado? Son varias las empresas que nos han confiado ya la realización de sus stands de feria, entre las que se encuentran PEPE JEANS SHOES, TEXOL, GONZAGA EXPORT y TURFGRASS, algunas de estas empresas nos siguen contactando anualmente para renovar o modificar sus espacios de exposición. Como empresa expositora, hemos participado ya varios años en las ferias HOSTELCO y ALIMENTARIA celebradas en la ciudad de Barcelona. Estas experiencias

BUSINESS Recently, you were part of the Front of the House Service Tendencies and Innovation Host that takes place in The Basque Culinary Center from San Sebastian. In this event you presented your work related to a crockery project to be used presenting the delicatessen prepared by the best chefs of the world. How did you achieve the high world of gastronomy to trust you? The answer, always daring to do everything. Everybody defines me and my company as if there were nothing impossible. There is never a no from me. In our workshop we have managed to bring into life the craziest chefs´ ideas, and do so in really short periods of time. But, mostly, by never forgetting the idea of the Snail (the Carakol).

However, he did not imagine that, sometime later, his small workshop would become a 3000 m2 place, and that he would become a really famous artist with a really famous enterprise working all over the world.

In 2012, he created the brand: Ideas Factory, and, in 2013: Fearless Décor Concept, as ways to expand their business worldwide. How many places have you decorated and where has your work taken you to? You design stands for events and fairs, and you have also been part of them. What have these experiences given you? Several enterprises have trusted us the task of making their stands. Among them we can mention: Pepe Jeans Shoes, Texol, Gonzaga Export, and Turfgrass. Most of them call us every year to renew or modify their stands. As an exhibiting company, we have been part of the Alimentaria and Hostelco Fair of Barcelona for some years. This experience has been really positive for us, mostly because it has increased our presence in the market, and has allowed us to contact with some important entrepreneurs and chefs, that later become our clients.

National and International companies have trusted you the promotion of their products. Could you name some of these companies? Guinness, Heineken, Mahou, San Miguel, Barceló Hotels, Pepsi, Pepe Jeans, La Casa Chocolate, Pascual Group. What work makes you feel more satisfied? It is really hard to say that because we have done many works and we could never say one is best than the other. l éxito empresarial es el objetivo de cualquier empresa. Bien sea de un autónomo, una pequeña empresa o una grandísima multinacional, el objetivo es común: conseguir un negocio solvente, que crezca día a día, ampliando su facturación anual, ampliando la plantilla y en definitiva, ganando más dinero. Pero, ¿cómo se consigue?, ¿qué diferencia a una empresa con pérdidas, que tiene que cerrar sus puertas porque no obtiene beneficios de una empresa con éxito? ¿Cómo se consigue el éxito empresarial? Aquí te damos algunos consejos para conseguir el éxito de tu empresa. 1. Pasión por tu empresa y por ti mismo: La pasión por hacer lo que te gusta es tu mejor incentivo. Si iniciaste un proyecto empresarial fue porque creíste en tu idea y apostaste por ella. Recuerda siempre por qué decidiste crear tu propia empresa y no dejes que las circunstancias ni los obstáculos que puedan aparecer te quiten las ganas de conseguir el éxito. 2. Trabajo Diversión, el cóctel del éxito: Trabajo, y más trabajo… cuando buscas el éxi-

Con ingenio: Una de las claves del éxito es tener capacidad para dejar fluir las ideas. One example: do you use Internet to promote your business? 5. Creativity: one of the keys to success is having the capacity to let your ideas flow. Being creative will make the difference between you and your competitors. A piece of advice: sometimes, the simple ideas are the most successful ones. Trying hard, with enthusiasm and perseverance, success is accomplished.

aul Godsie nació en el Reino Unido, tiene 49 años y estudió negocios en una Universidad de Essex así como en la Universidad de la vida. Empezó trabajando como especialista en ventas hasta que se convirtió en emprendedor a la edad de 28 años como agente de viajes. En la actualidad vive en La Nucía con su familia y dirige varias empresas en L’ Alfàs del Pi. (Empresas de vacaciones, etc. Paul ¿Qué te animo a venir a España? Una mejor calidad de vida. ¿Cómo surgió la idea de montar aquí tus negocios? En un primer momento vivimos en Tenerife, pero decidimos mudarnos a esta zona porque queríamos que nuestros hijos asistieran a las mejores escuelas, (que asistieran a Lope de Vega y Lady Elizabeth). ¿Cuántos empleados tienes? ¿Son todos ingleses? Hay aproximadamente 140 empleados de diferentes orígenes, entre estos cuentan también los 6 del gimnasio y los 12 del bar. Diriges el Jacob’s Gym, un centro deportivo en el que cuentas con varios miembros. Este negocio está muy enfocado a la clientela local y comarcal y no tiene nada que ver con el turismo. ¿Por qué lo iniciaste? Abrí el gimnasio para diversificar mi actividad en el sector de los negocios. Además, el gimnasio ha sido una posibilidad para que mi hijo centre sus esfuerzos al terminar sus estudios. Él es un joven que ama los deportes, especialmente el fútbol, en el cual es un gran jugador.

Hablemos del negocio que estás construyendo en estos momentos. EL nuevo Hotel Moli, que parece que sea tu bebe y te veo muy emocionado con él. ¿Que será el nuevo hotel Moli? El Hotel Moli será un lugar al que asistir y un lugar en el que te gustaría ser visto. Este elevará el concepto que tienen todos acerca de L’ Alfàs del Pi. ¿Con cuantas habitaciones contará el hotel? El edificio antiguo contaba con 10 habitaciones. El nuevo tendrá 13 de una calidad excepcional. Para un futuro desarrollo será añadida una segunda planta con 10 habitaciones más. Aparte de servicio de habitaciones, ¿qué otros servicios ofrecerá? Los clientes tendrán acceso al golf, al gimnasio, a excursiones en bus, bodas y cualquier evento que se planifique.

Paul, what encouraged you to come to Spain? Better quality of life.

¿Se podrán celebrar cualquier tipo de eventos? Celebraremos cualquier evento que el cliente desee.

How did you come out with the idea of doing business here? We initially lived in Tenerife, but decided to relocate here so our children could attend the best Schools. Going to Lope de Vega and Lady Elizabeth.

¿Cuándo se abrirán las puertas de este nuevo hotel? La fecha de apertura está planificada para la Semana Santa (abril). ¿Tienes otros planes de negocio, aparte de estos? No en este momento, pero uno nunca sabe. Solo una pregunta más, ¿qué cambiarias o pedirías para que facilitasen el fomento de las empresas y se pudiese generar más empleo? Creo que sería muy bueno bajar la Seguridad Social de las Compañías del 26%, de esta manera se podría contratar más empleados. Haciendo esto, todas las compañías podrían invertir más en las personas y crearían más empleos en toda la zona. How many employees do you have? Are they all British? There are approximately 140 Employees of mixed origins. These include 6 in the Gym and 12 in the Bar.

How many rooms will it have? The old building had 10 rooms, but it will now have 13 of exceptional quality. A second floor, adding a further 10 rooms is planned for a future development. Besides room service, what other services will it offer? Access to Golf, the Gym, Bus Tours, Weddings and General Event Planning. That is great! Will there be the possibility of celebrating any kind of events? We can plan for whatever events the client wants. When is it going to open? The planned opening will be Easter (April) Do you have other business plans in mind? Not at this time but you can never tell!!!

You run Jacobs Gym, which is a sports center with many members. This business is focused on the people of this area, and has nothing to do with tourism. Why did you decide to open it? I opened the Gym to enable me to diversify my business acumen. It also has given my son a focus following leaving school as he is a very sporty young man, especially in football in which he excels .

Just one more question. What would you change or ask to promote the creation of new enterprises and new jobs? It would be great to bring the amount of Company Social Security down from 26%, thus enabling me to employ more people. This would allow all businesses, not just myself to be able to invest more in individual people and create more employment throughout the area.

Let s talk about one of your current endeavors, the new Moli Hotel. It seems to be your new baby, and I see you really excited about it. How is it going to be? The Moli Hotel will be the place to go and the place to be seen in. It will elevate the whole outlook that people have of Alfaz del Pi Village.

The sense of innovation of this kind of companies is also linked to the sources of funding. Hasta el 2016 se sitúa en 655,20 euros mensuales repartidos en 14 pagas para una jornada de ocho horas diarias. En 2017 pasa a ser de 707,6 euros al mes. En caso de que trabaje menos horas, el sueldo mínimo que percibirá el trabajador se calcula de manera proporcional a su tiempo de trabajo. ¿Nos acerca esta subida a otros países de nuestro entorno? Pese a tratarse del mayor incremento de los últimos 30 años, seguimos estando muy lejos de los países de nuestro entorno, donde el SMI es mucho más elevado. Nacimiento y origen de la banda Karma Police nace a mediados del año 2015, tras la decisión de Vanessa (Cantante y guitarrista) y Ferran (Baterista) de montar un nuevo proyecto después de abandonar su anterior formación. A las pocas semanas conocen a Alessandro (Bajista) y un mes más tarde proponen a Iñaki (Guitarrista) formar parte de la banda y así tener una formación perfecta. El nombre del grupo es originario de una de las canciones del grupo internacional Radiohead, “Karma Police”, de su disco “OK Computer”, lanzado en el año 1997. Las canciones están influidas por diferentes variantes del panorama alternativo nacional e internacional. Entre esas influencias merecen especial mención artistas internacionales como Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, Lana del Rey, Best Youth y Radiohead; así como otros del panorama nacional como Zahara, Anni B Sweet, Russian Red y Miss Caffeina.

Birth and origins of the band Karma Police was created by the middle of 2015 when Vanessa (guitar player and singer) and Ferrán (drummer) decided to start a new project after leaving their previous band. Primeros pasos Comienzan ensayando en su local en Benidorm, donde siguen actualmente sacando adelante sus versiones y canciones propias.

First steps They started rehearsing at their local in Benidorm, where they still work with their own songs and versions. After some months of continuous rehearsals, playing songs of Coldplay, Russian Red, Oasis, and Radiohead, among others, they played for the first time, in October 2015, at La Vintage Store, an unplugged concert that takes place in Benidorm. Right after their first stage contact, they decided to start writing and composing their own songs. As a result, they took some months off to do so. Future plans Nowadays, following the release and good reception of their first record, they have planned two concerts (Benidorm, and Madrid). Their goal is to make a tour all along the Valencian Community, and make an incursion outside this area trying to reach more public. Besides, they will try to be part of one alternative music festival during summer.

Después de unos meses de ensayos, iniciando con versiones de grupos como Coldplay, Russian Red, Oasis, y Radiohead, entre otros, tocan por primera vez en concierto acústico en La Vintage Store, en Benidorm, en Octubre de 2015. Tras su primera toma de contacto con los escenarios, los cuatro miembros de la banda deciden empezar la carrera musical con canciones propias, tras lo cual dedican varios meses para componer. Plan de futuro Actualmente la banda, tras el lanzamiento y buena acogida de su primer EP, tiene previstos un par de conciertos (uno de ellos en Benidorm y otro en Madrid). Su intención es realizar a lo largo de la temporada de invierno y primavera una serie de conciertos por la Comunidad Valenciana y algún concierto fuera de este territorio con tal de llegar a mayor público. Además, trataran de formar parte del cartel de algún festival de música alternativa durante el verano.

esús Gómez, 32 years old, and Miriam Yelo, 31 years old, were born in Murcia. They both have chosen Benidorm to open their business: Benidorm Cooking Experience. José spent 4 years in Edinburgh and Bristol learning and acquiring some experience and knowledge about gastronomy. He also wanted to learn a new language; however, he did not go to an academy, he applied for a Japanese cuisine course. Thanks to his work experience in England and Scotland, he studied to master his knowledge in Asian cuisine. On the other hand, there is Miriam. It can be said that she was raised in a kitchen, always close to her mother who was a cook. That is why she deeply learned how to cook traditional Spanish cuisine.

Jesús estuvo cuatro años adquiriendo experiencia y conocimientos gastronómicos entre Edimburgo y Bristol. Con la inquietud de aprender y perfeccionar el idioma, decidió inscribirse en un curso de comida japonesa en vez de una academia. Gracias a su experiencia laboral en Inglaterra y Escocia, se formó y especializo en comida asiática. Por otro lado, su socia, Miriam, se puede decir que nació entre fogones, pegada a la falda de su madre que era cocinera, aprendió a fondo a cocinar la comida tradicional española. Para lanzarte en el mundo empresarial, además de financiación y formación tienes que tener una idea, y para triunfar hoy en día, tienes que tener una muy buena idea y diferenciarte de los demás, pues bien, esto es lo que han conseguido Jesús y Miriam con su local. Pero afortunadamente nos dimos cuenta por el interés que mostró nuestra clientela que el abanico se podía ampliar y así lo hicimos. Ahora ofrecemos cursos de comida tailandesa, italiana, vegana, y celebramos cualquier tipo de evento, como el que vamos a celebrar este fin de semana para una despedida de solteras. Suena muy divertido Lo es, los participantes se apoyan mucho entre ellos y se crea un buen ambiente que se remata cuando se comen juntos lo que han aprendido a cocinar.

¿En invierno las estancias pueden ser mas largas? Si de hecho tenemos clientela extranjera que llegan a pernoctar durante 3 meses. El complejo está ubicado en la playa del Albir, ¿que encuentran los turistas aquí? Pues lo que yo encontré, calidad de vida, un clima excepcional y una infraestructura urbanista en muy buenas condiciones. ¿Y a nivel de ocio? Contamos con el parque Serra Gelada y el camino al Faro, que tengo que decir que es una de las rutas mas visitadas de la comunidad valenciana. También tenemos el paseo marítimo y el carril bici, y una amplia oferta gastronómica con restaurantes de primera. El municipio ha declarado el 2017 como año saludable, ¿qué significa esto? En realidad ha sido un nombre comercial muy apropiado aunque el municipio de alfas lleva muchos años trabajando para convertirlo en un espacio saludable para residentes y turistas, centros de salud públicos y privados, instalaciones deportivas, una playa que cuenta con la bandera azul desde hace mucho tiempo y la amplia oferta cultural que ofrece. ¿Y tú que cambiarias o mejorarías para promocionar el municipio y atraer a mas turistas? Siempre se puede mejorar todo, pero tengo que decir que esta playa es muy visitada y que los turistas se van muy contentos y con la intención de repetir, eso dice mucho. Aunque repito, todo se puede mejorar y cualquier actuación que sirva para aumentar la promoción turística nos beneficia a todos los negocios.

We also work with some webs that promote tourism and travels with pets. Pets? Yes. We accept pets at the apartments. This is something all clients appreciate. No one else offers a garden to the clients. Most of the people who have pets at home want to travel with them. As a result they need places that allow this kind of tourism. We take this into consideration and we let all our clients know this is the best place for them. This is something that really marks the difference with your competitors, isn´t it? Are there any other things that distinguish you? We offer our clients a personalized and familiar treatment. That is why I personally take care of the reception of the guests. I think that everything can be improved; however, I have to state that the many tourists who come to visit Albir, always go back home happy and with a great impression, that means a lot. As a result, any initiative to increase the number of visitors and promote this area will be beneficial for all of us.

La salsa de Pesto original viene de Genova (Italia) y de ahí el Pesto Genovese y su principal ingrediente es la hoja de albahaca. Como ya viene siendo costumbre, Michele Ferreti gerente y cocinero de Nuevo Capriccio en la playa del Albir, nos explica paso a paso como hacer la Salsa de Pesto.

Ingredientes: 100 ml de aceite de oliva virgen 15 gramos de piñones 70 gramos de queso Parmesano 50 gramos de albahaca fresca Un diente de ajo y Sal 30 gramos de queso Pecorino

Preparación: Comenzamos su preparación lavando bien las hojas de albahaca fresca que vamos a emplear, y que son la base de la salsa. Una vez lavadas las escurrimos del todo y les quitamos los trozos de tallo que tuvieran aun. Cogemos un buen diente de ajo, lo pelamos del todo y lo cortamos en trozos más pequeños, para facilitarnos su posterior triturado junto con las hojas de albahaca. Utilizaremos un robot triturador, porque estamos en un restaurante, pero si no lo tienes en casa puedes utilizar un mortero, y en el mismo vamos a echar un puñadito de sal, las hojas escurridas de albahaca y el diente de ajo picado, y lo vamos a machacar todo lo mejor posible. Cuando esté todo bien triturado, echamos los piñones y seguimos trabajando la mezcla para machacarlo todo y que se mezcle bien. Una vez que esté todo bien triturado, agregamos el aceite de oliva virgen y removemos para mezclar. Agregamos entonces el queso rallado, de los dos tipos indicados, para darle una mayor cremosidad a la salsa. Mezclamos todos los ingredientes hasta que nos quede una salsa homogénea, y si nos resulta demasiado densa, podemos agregar un poco de agua para darle un punto más líquido. Y al acabar ya podemos servir nuestro pesto para disfrutar de su estupenda combinación de sabores.

Ingredients: 100 ml extra virgin olive oil 700 gr of Parmesan cheese 30 gr of Pecorino cheese

15 gr of pine nuts 50 gr of fresh basil 1 garlic clove and Salt

Preparation: First of all, it is necessary to wash very well the fresh basil leaves. Once you do this, let them dry and make sure you only use the leaves for the preparation. Cut the garlic clove into small pieces, this way it can be easily shredded later with the basil leaves. We use the shredder robot, at a restaurant, but at home, you can use a mortar to crush the garlic with the basil. Add some salt and crush it the best possible. When this mixture is well crushed, add the pine nuts and keep crushing it until you obtain a homogeneous mix. Once all is completely shredded, add the extra virgin olive oil and remove. Then, add the shredded cheese and remove until you obtain a creamy texture. Keep removing it to obtain a perfect and homogeneous mix. If it is too dense, add some water to lighten it. Once you have obtained the desired density, serve it and enjoy its wonderful taste in different dishes.

Concretamente, el llamado choto lechal de una gran calidad es el animal que solamente ha tomado leche de la madre, por lo que su carne es tierna y su sabor, suave y delicioso. El tradicional choto, se cocina unas veces al ajillo, otras en un delicioso arroz, hasta piernas al horno. Se trata de un producto de una altísima calidad, además de una carne ligera y con pocas grasas saturadas.

Por su parte, la sabrosa carne del cordero, procedente de la oveja, carnero y crías, se consume en su etapa de hasta un año de edad, cuando es más tierno y suele tener un color blanco, para después pasar a ser rosácea y por último más oscura. Se puede cocinar en caldereta, acompañado de verduras o patatas, al horno con ciruelas y pasas, así como chuletas de cordero, entre otras muchas variantes, todas ellas en platos muy sabrosos y con un alto poder nutritivo.

hough this project is launched this January, 2017, it was born 4 years ago. It is the result of the illusion and great expectation of 3 partners: the Casiano brothers Charly and Cesar, and Chimo Such. Our purpose is to let the project start in Alfas and La Marina Baixa, let it grow all along the province of Alicante and the Valencian Community, and later in Spain and the whole world. Casiano Rum is a careful selection of the best rums of the Caribbean area, blended and aged under the wise eye of the rum master Santi Bronchales. This way, an exceptional and unique taste makes it irresistible. Its origins go back to Guatemala, Trinidad, and Jamaica. Three places that perfectly combined the mixing of the Caribbean and represent the most wanted rum profiles: the Latin and Navy rums. The adequate and perfect mix, and its aging process in Spanish oak barrels, round off this rum and give it the needed structure. Moreover, its aging process in the Mediterranean area and its climate help the fusion of all its elements. Tasting note: Amber color rum with golden reflects. Colors proper of fresh and slightly toasted wood. Fresh, clean, and slight wood scent, where vanilla and cinnamon are the main protagonists. These scents highlight the spicy notes it also has thanks to the long aging process in oak barrels. It has a gentle and sweet flavor in mouth with an elegant and well balanced touch at the end.

Trying to keep supporting culture, the Mostra de Teatre de L›Alfàs del Pi was also born in 2003. This Festival has always aimed at being the best way to let the best Spanish plays to be known in this area, and fill the existing artistic gap. Nowadays, it has become one of the most important festivals of this town and the Costa Blanca.

os podéis contar cuando empezó vuestra aventura en la Mostra de Teatre? Pues Manolo Troncoso como director y yo como actor ya estuvimos presentes en las primeras ediciones de La Mostra, pero profesionalmente fue en el año 2005 con "La Pereza" de Ricardo Talesnik cuando ya estuvimos como Mascarat Producciones Teatrales. ¿Cómo ha ido evolucionando? La Mostra tiene marcada una línea teatral muy clara. La gente que viene a ver teatro sabe que va a tener la oportunidad de ver a sus actores y actrices favoritos, esos que han visto en el cine o la televisión, en vivo en un escenario trabajando para ellos durante hora y media. A partir de ahí, la evolución ha ido hacia la incorporación de mayor porcentaje de comedia que de otros géneros, por ejemplo. Se ha abierto a los monólogos y formatos más pequeños. Pero podríamos destacar la incorporación del teatro hecho por jóvenes para los jóvenes.

Mascarat Productions y preferentemente comedia. Para nosotros la referencia está en la cartelera teatral de Madrid. Hemos comprobado que las cosas que funcionan en Madrid suelen tener éxito en La Mostra. La complicación surge en encajar fechas con un presupuesto. Es como un puzle en el que se barajan muchas posibilidades para acabar concretando en la mejor selección posible. Esa línea viene avalada por la enorme asistencia de público. Colgar el cartel de "entradas agotadas" es la mejor prueba de que las cosas se están haciendo bien.

¿Cómo hacéis la selección de las obras? La selección debe tener criterios de calidad, cartel y precio. Además cada función acarrea una compleja ficha técnica, luces, sonido, producción... y no olvidemos que debemos movernos dentro de un presupuesto. No es fácil. La Mostra has a clearly defined and marked theatrical line. Peo

ple who come to the theatre truly know they are going to a place to have a close contact with their favorite actors and actresses, an hour and a half contact at a stage with those they have seen in the movies at the cinema or the TV. Starting from this, for example, the evolution has tried to incorporate a higher percentage of comedies than that of the rest of the genres. The Theatre has opened its gates to monologues and shorter performances. But most importantly, the use of the idea of young actors and actresses performing for a young audience has come out to light. How do you select the plays? We have to take into consideration several aspects related to the quality, timetable, and price. Besides, each one of them represents a challenge because of the devices that need to be used such as lights, sound equipment, and production. What is more, we have to do all this having into account the budget we have. It is not easy. We try to select the plays in terms of their diversity and formats, from the shortest to the longest ones, according to their perfect timetables, and always trying to display more comedies. We take as an example the billboard of Madrid. We have identified that those things that work in Madrid work here too at La Mostra. The difficult part comes when it is time to match the perfect timetables and dates with the budgets. It is almost like a puzzle in which you have many possibilities to finally choose the best ones. La presbicia o vista cansada es una disminución de la capacidad de enfoque del ojo que provoca una pérdida de nitidez en la visión cercana. Suele producirse a partir de los 40-45 años y los síntomas son tener dificultades para enfocar imágenes cercanas, lo que provoca una sensación de que las letras “bailan” o están borrosas. Se debe a una pérdida de elasticidad del cristalino, la lente natural del ojo que se encuentra entre la córnea y la retina. El cristalino tiene la capacidad de acomodación, es decir, de enfocar los objetos en función de la distancia a la que se encuentran. Podría decirse que es como el “zoom” de una cámara fotográfica. Con la edad, el cristalino pierde elasticidad y capacidad de enfoque, dando lugar a la vista cansada.

Aconsejamos que se hagan a partir de los 40 una revisión oftalmológica completa cada uno o dos años. Fue William Garner Sutherland (1872-1954), un Osteópata Norteamericano quien fundó la Terapia Craneosacral. En las clases de Anatomía de la época se enseñaba que las suturas craneales se fusionaban y por lo tanto carecían de movimiento. Sin embargo una de las enseñanzas que recibió del Dr. Still, fundador de la Osteopatía fue que “toda vida es movimiento, y donde el movimiento está restringido o no está presente aparece la enfermedad”. Durante sus estudios, se dio cuenta de que la forma de las suturas parecía diseñado para el movimiento. Este movimiento que puede ser palpado con el entrenamiento adecuado, se propaga por todo el cuerpo, permitiendo un contacto que es a la vez diagnóstico y terapéutico, que actúa sobre condiciones de restricción de movilidad responsables de un gran número de condiciones adversas. Durante una sesión de Craneosacral, el paciente se tumba, vestido, y recibe unos contactos muy ligeros, permitiendo que entre en un estado de relajación profunda, que permite que la salud que siempre está presente, se exprese.

At the Anatomy classes of that time, it was taught that because the cranial sutures merged they lacked movement. However, Garner learned from Dr. Still (the father of osteopathy) that movements mean life, and anywhere movement is limited or is not present, diseases show up. e trata de un movimiento global que quiere incentivar y multiplicar las buenas acciones de las personas, y el principal motor de difusión de esta iniciativa es el hashtag #GivingTuesday.

La idea surgió en 2012 en el seno de la ONG 92Y Street de Nueva York (EE.UU.) como alternativa a las celebraciones consumistas que tienen lugar los días previos: el Black Friday y el Cyber Monday, que promueven las compras antes de Navidad. El objetivo de esta campaña es dedicar un día en todo el mundo a celebrar la acción de dar, ya sean alimentos, dinero, tiempo (voluntariado), objetos de segunda mano, etc. Hay diferentes proyectos con los que colaborar, tanto a modo individual como colectivo (como empresa o como organización, ya sea una ONG, una escuela, una fundación...). También es posible crear o añadir tus propios proyectos y poner en marcha tu propia acción solidaria con tu familia, amigos, compañeros de trabajo o de clase.
