OCTOBE “On October 14, 2015 Division 28 South had their October DCM which was held at Basic High School. There were 10 members who attended in which 6 were of course, officers. I thought that DCM was very informational because we were informed about PTP week and Respawn which is a competition in which who can fundraise the most money between schools for CMN. We also had the longest president’s report and in additional to that, we were selected as Club of the Month and received Penny The Panda.” -Ronnee Fae Villamor, 11

FALL FESTIVAL "Green Valley High School Key Club helped Nate Mack Elementary host their Fall Festival to raise school funds. The volunteers ran exciting booths like the balloon pop and the football throw during the event. Scary costumes and spooky spirits ran and howled through the school, and finally when the vampires and ghouls got sick, the volunteers would help them to some of the concessions. Finally, when all the little monsters got tired and had to go to bed, the pandas helped clean and pack up after the whole event. Nate Mack faculty were so thankful for GV key club's big help in the event and were thrilled to see old students stay active in their community." -Mackienzy Kahl, 11

GVKC’S 25TH BIRTH "The GVKC 25th Birthday Celebration was a social gathering to celebrate Green Valley Key Club's 25th anniversary in Green Valley High School. This was held in Cornerstone Park, which was a perfect spot because the weather was nice and clear. There were a variety of delicious food from the members. After eating, we socialized and played some games which was lead by our very own President, Nia Fernandez. I really enjoyed being there because I got close with my fellow key club members." -L o u i s e S u a y b a g u i o , 1 1

ZOMBI
“The Zombie Run was one of my favorite service events we've done so far. Getting my makeup done and chasing children was such a fun experience. We started off by screaming and then we escalated to actual chasing and then children started crying. Darren probably made the most of them cry, he was also voted the scariest zombie of the night. It was so nice to spend time with some fellow key clubbers while having fun and seeing Mrs. Santee scare children away will forever be a great memory” -Judy Ortiz,11 14

CARW "I attended the car wash fundraiser for adopt-a-gator . Which we washed over 16 cars and we got many donation for this cause. Many people attended and had a very fun time washing the cars and we also had a honor guest that came from across town to help this cause. Which was our past LTG, Andriyah Anouvongs. So this experience was for a good cause and we got a lot of help possible to raise money for this cause." -Rula Almukhtar, 12
