FALL RALL “I attended Fall Rally this year, and it was a l o t o f f u n . We g o t t o r a i s e m o n e y f o r p e d i a t r i c T r a u m a p r e v e n t i o n / p r o g r a m . We r a i s e d a g o o d a m o u n t o f m o n e y t o o . We a l s o c o m peted to see who has better spirit to support this cause even more. But even though we didn’t win, we still got to see how big our division was and how many people are actually i n i t . OVIE NIGHT “There was a late movie night at Green Valley and everyone was wearing their favorite pajamas. To decide what movie to watch key club members, including myself, had to color a turkey so i t wouldn’t get eaten. Ev en though I di dn't wi n I got to watch Kuzco’s New Groov e wi th my friends. After the movie most of the members left, but Lauren and I stayed to watch Chicken Run and had all the food to ourselves, huzzah! Overall, the Pajama Movie Night was exciting and relaxi ng at the same ti me wi th lots of food.” - Thao Huynh, 09

GIFT WRAPPING F “At the gift wrapping event , everyone was helping wrap gifts for gator give. Gator give is t h i s e v e n t w e h a v e e v e r y y e a r . We b u y g i f t s that the children need and want for Christmas since their families can’t afford the presents. Then, we wrap them up and give it to the parents. The parents give it to the children for C h r i s t m a s . We a d o p t e d t w o k i d s a n d g o t m a n y presents for both of them. It made me feel really happy thinking that they will receive all these gifts and to think it will bring them lots of joy.” -Jennele

K FESTIVAL "Green Valley High School Key Club helped Nate Mack Elementary host their Fall Festival to raise school funds. The volunteers ran exciting booths like the balloon pop and the football throw during the event. Scary costumes and spooky spirits ran and howled through the school, and finally when the vampires and ghouls got sick, the volunteers would help them to some of the concessions. Finally, when all the little monsters got tired and had to go to bed, the pandas helped clean and pack up after the whole event. Nate Mack faculty were so thankful for GV key club's big help in the event and were thrilled to see old students stay active in their community." -Mackienzy Kahl, 11

PRESIDENT Happy Holidays, Gators! This past month, GV Key Club had the opportunity to represent Division 28 South at Fall Rally South and helped fundraise for Pediatric Trauma Program through UNICEF and a Pajama Movie Night Social that our LTG Sofia Yahya joined us for.
Along with raising money for that, we also used our funds from our carwash to sponsor a couple of Christmases! I am so grateful to have dedicated and generous members to help
