ACCLIMATING TO A NEW NEIGHBORHOOD

For a number of people, this may be the year they relocate to a new home or apartment. The moving rate in the United States has remained steady since 2008, with roughly 12 percent of the population relocating each year according to reports from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Movement to the suburbs continues to be high, and renters tend to move more frequently than others. People who move cite a new job or a job transfer as one of the primary motivators to relocate.

Acclimating to a new home and neighborhood after a move can be challenging. Even after boxes have been unpacked and items put away, some people still feel unsettled. It could be because one of the most important parts of being in a new house is feeling at home. That involves meeting neighbors, having friends over for dinner and knowing all of the local haunts that help solidify a homeowner as a true member of his or her new neighborhood. It can take time to establish feeings of belonging.

TIPS FOR STAYING SAFE AND CONNECTED DURING A

MOVE

(NAPSI) — Planning a move can be stressful, but planning a move in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic brings a new set of challenges. Stay safe and connected with some smart pre-move planning; here are some tips:

Follow Approved Protocols — If you can’t postpone your move, take extra precautions before moving in to ensure your new place is clean. Follow general disinfecting guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Among other surfaces, disinfect doors, door handles, bathrooms, kitchen appliances, countertops and—something many people don’t really think about—cabinet and doorknobs as well as light switches.

Safely Stay Connected — New work-from-home protocols and online schooling mean reliable Internet connectivity is more important than ever. Prior to your move, SmartMove can connect you to your local provider and help arrange new Touchless Installs that let you safely connect your tech services yourself. Cable companies deliver equipment with step-by-step activation information so you can set up your system on your own, or with support over the phone, online, through chat functionality or video tutorials. In most cases, no technician will need to enter your home.

Keep in Touch & Maintain Daily Routines — You may be staying in more, but don’t forget to take a break from unpacking boxes. Use your new online connection to find delivery services to help stock your pantry and fridge and refill prescriptions. Your new house will feel more like home if you take time to watch your favorite shows, maintain your exercise program or explore online courses that can help you discover new talents or resume old hobbies. Don’t forget to connect with friends through group video chats or viewing parties—you can even take your friends and family on a virtual tour of your new place!

THE CONNECTION BETWEEN BEER &

Circulation Manager

Leone

Wasson

Rapone

In the weeks leading up to Easter, practicing Christians commonly commit to a period of fasting and abstinence known as Lent. This commitment commemorates Christ’s 40-day journey into the desert, and the sacrifices modern day Christians make are meant to replicate those made by Christ duringthatperiod.ManyChristians abstain from alcohol during Lent, but those who do may not realize that beer played a significant role in helping a small community of 17th century monks survive the Lentenfastingseason.Monksfrom the Order of St. Francis of Paola, often referred to as “Paulaner monks,” fasted from all solid foods throughout the season of Lent during the 1600s. According to the Paulaner Brewery, the monks, originally from southern Italy, relocated to Bavaria, once an independent country but now a southern state in Germany, in the 1600s. Their strict religious orders forbade the monks from consuming solid food during Lent, but they still needed nutrients to sustain them. So the monks concocted a strong brew loaded with carbohydrates and nutrients. The monks must have liked the beer, as they continued to brew it and even began selling it in their community. An early doppelbock, the beer was one of the first offerings from the Paulaner Brewery, which opened its doors in 1634 and remains open today.

President Joe Biden’s initiative, aimed at providing targeted debt relief to millions of student-loan borrowers, is now before the Supreme Court. Opponents to the program say it amounts to an unlawful attempt to erase an estimated $430 billion of federal student loan debt under the guise of the pandemic. What side do you fall on regarding student loan forgiveness?

• The effects of the pandemic are still being felt by many Americans and I agree that loan forgiveness needs to happen.

• Students borrowed this money expecting to pay it back and should.

• Loan forgiveness is a noble idea but shouldn’t we fix the system first?

MAKE MANAGING WINTER MORE FASHIONABLE

Staying warm is a goal each winter, but that doesn’t mean you have to banish skirts and dresses to the back of your closet. Choose materials that will keep you toasty, including wool, synthetic blends and thick, cotton corduroys. Pair skirts with opaque tights to keep legs warm, and choose stylish calf- or knee-high boots, which are trending right now. Patchwork trends can be seen all over the fall and winter runway shows, and you can experiment with this trend on dresses or skirts to bring a bohemian touch to your winter ensembles.

GET ON THE FAST TRACK TO BEING ORGANIZED

• Keep a cleanup bin handy. Put an empty basket in a central location, using it to gather stray items scattered around main living areas. Once everything has been collected, items can be returned to their rightful place.

• Make the bed. One of the easiest ways to keep a room looking neat is to make the bed each day. Store clean linens in a pillow case so the entire set is together and ready to go.

• Purge closets and cabinets. There’s no point allowing old, stained or damaged items to take up space. Set aside days to clear expired medication from the bathroom cabinet, discard ripped or ill-fitting clothing from the closet, or to dispose of broken toys in a nursery.

• Write things down. Tasks seem more manageable when they are writtendowninblack-and-whiteandcanbecrossedoffascompleted. Writing things down also helps make the mind feel more organized.

• Exercise caution before buying. Don’t buy more than you need; otherwise, you’ll have to find space for extra items. Also, keep inventory of food and supplies in the house so you’re not unwittingly buying duplicates.

• Sort mail and paperwork. Establish different categories for papers so they can be sorted and discarded as needed. These may include bills, invitations, school papers, and junk mail. Reduce paper clutter by opting for digital correspondence when possible.

• Make one repair at a time. Tackle that source of stress by focusing on one repair and seeing it through to completion.

• Delegate the work. If kids want to help organize, let them. It can be a fun project for an adolescent to rearrange the pantry or offer their ideas for corralling messes.

(NAPSI) — According to Darrell Smith, executive director of the International Window Film Association, window film makes a lot of sense for homeowners eager to save money on their energy bills.

“Solar-control films can block as much as 80 percent of the solar heat coming through glass into a building, decrease the heat load on the air-conditioning system and reduce energy costs,” Smith says.

With more people working and studying from home, window film allows in abundant natural sunlight while blocking 99 percent of the sun’s harmful UV rays to better protect the skin (from possible cancer) and eyes (from cataract development), while reducing the fading of floors and furnishings. Smith estimates that 40 to 60 percent of color fading is caused by UV exposure. Windows may also be upgraded for safety, as window film helps to hold glass pieces together if the window is impacted and broken.

For even a 3,000 square foot home, window film may be installed in a day or less with minimal disruption. Window film installers clean the glass before installation, keep the work space clean and practice safe contact as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. January grey is here, Like a sexton by her grave; February bears the bier, March with grief doth howl and rave...

~Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792–1822), “Dirge for the Year”

* If you have a plastic-bristle broom that is starting to get really ragged and it’s time to replace it, don’t get rid of it. Turn it into a scrub broom. Trim the bristles down to about an inch. You can even cut them at an angle. Then you can use this broom to scrub stubborn spots. The bristles are nice and tight when they are so short.

* Check your windshield wiper blades. Are they smeary? Before you replace them, use a paper towel and rubbing alcohol to clean the blades. They might have life left in them yet!

* Still fire season in your neck of the woods? Most of us know not to burn magazine inserts or anything plastic, but did you know that you CAN add some spice to your fire? Save the peel from your citrus fruits (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit -- even lemons and limes) to add to your fire. They burn well, and they smell great!

* “We had a piece of linoleum left over when we replaced the kitchen flooring. It was almost a perfect size to put over our picnic table. We use it for crafts and whenever we don’t want anything to fall through the boards. It stores neatly against the wall behind our outdoor shelves when we aren’t using it!” -- R. in Minnesota

* If you have a light bulb that has broken off in the socket and you need to get it out to replace it, use needlenose pliers to grab the metal ring and unscrew it. Be sure to turn the light off first! If that doesn’t work, you might be able to use a bar of soap to grab any glass shards sticking out, and unscrew it that way.

* “When I put on my stockings, I put on my dish gloves first. It sounds silly, but I do not have any snags in my stockings, and the grip of the gloves makes them easy to pull up and adjust for a perfect fit.” -- W.M. in New York

TO YOUR GOOD HEALTH

Statins and Thiazides

Acutely Increase Blood Sugar, Risk of Diabetes

DEAR DR. ROACH: My question regards the results of my fasting glucose tests for the past couple of years. I am 81 and weigh around 150 pounds. The medications I am taking concern me, with relevance to the A1C levels of my quarterly blood work. My A1C levels have mostly been near mid-5%; the last showed 6%. Medications relevant to this that I am suspicious of are 100-12.5 mg of losartan/hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) and 20 mg of simvastatin. I have read that these medications can have an effect of raising blood glucose. My doctor is adamant that this does not exist, but it seems to me that there is a conflict on this. Should I perhaps ask him to change those medications because of my blood sugar? I am concerned about issues with the thiazide and the statin. -- P.R.

ANSWER: There isn’t a conflict. You are absolutely right that both simvastatin (like all statins) and HCTZ (like all thiazides) increase blood sugar and the risk of diabetes. The risk, however, is small. For thiazides, the risk of high blood sugar seems tied to potassium levels -- the lower the potassium, the higher the risk of diabetes. Interestingly, the losartan in combination with the HCTZ you are taking tend to raise potassium levels, so that combination may have a lower risk of worsening blood sugar levels than taking HCTZ alone. You are already taking the smallest effective dose of thiazide. The risk of statins seems greater in higher doses and with more potent statins, like atorvastatin and rosuvastatin; however, the risk is still small. About one person in 100 treated with a high-dose intensive statin, such as 40 mg of atorvastatin for five years, would be expected to get diabetes, while a dosage of 20 mg of simvastatin would be expected to have an even lower risk.

The conflict isn’t whether the increased risk exists (it does), but whether the treatments to prevent heart attack and stroke are worth the increased risk. For nearly all people, the benefit of keeping blood pressure and cholesterol under control greatly outweighs the small increased risk of diabetes. Given your normal A1C level, I would say your risk is low, and I do not generally recommend changing treatment based on your concern over blood sugar. ***

Dr. Roach regrets that he is unable to answer individual questions, but will incorporate them in the column whenever possible. Readers may email questions to ToYourGoodHealth@med.cornell.edu.

HEALTH CARE SCREENINGS FOR MEN

BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 AND 39

Blood pressure: The United States Department of Health and Human Services and the National Institutes of Health urge men between the ages of 18 and 39 to have their blood pressure checked at least once every two years. Many men already have their blood pressure checked during annual wellness visits, which all men should schedule regardless of their fitness levels and overall health. Men with preexisting conditions, including diabetes, heart disease and kidney problems, may need more frequent blood pressure screenings. In addition, annual screenings are recommended if the top number is between 120 and 139 and/or the lower number is between 80 and 89.

FUN

This date marks the day the UN signed the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.

I am the smallest of my living species. I have the narrowest black stripes of any of my subspecies and I am also the darkest in orange compared to other subspecies. I weigh 260 lbs on average and grow up to 8ft long.

Why is World Wildlife Day important? We all share one planet. Ensuring Earth remains a thriving, living, breathing planet means taking care of everything in it. Overfishing can result in disastrous economic problems for coastal communities dependent on the trade. The loss of a species can lead to changes in the local environment, which can directly a ect the humans living there. Wildlife conservation is an integral part of creating a sustainable world.

I have a paler coat than most subspecies of my kind, and large, dark, widely spaced rosettes with thick, unbroken rings. They weigh 70-105 pounds. I have a thick coat that can grow as long as 7 centimeters in winter.

I am one of the world’s largest living primates. I have muscular arms, a massive chest, and broad hands and feet — and longer hair and shorter arms than my lowland cousins. My thick black hair helps insulate from cold weather.

I reach a shoulder height of between 6.6 and 10.5 ft, weigh between 4,400 and 8,800 lbs, and have 20 pairs of ribs. I typically have smaller tusks. My skin color is lighter than that of maximus and indicus with the least depigmentation.

You may think my skin is black, but it is dark gray or dark brown. I am 10.812.0 ft long and 1,760-3,080 lbs. I have a large head, short neck and short, thick legs. I also have a prehensile, pointed upper lip.

My habitat consists of the lowland rainforests and tropical, swamp, and mountain forests on the island of Borne. I have a round face with a dark red coat. I have strong hands and hand-like feet, along with flexible hips and long arms that allow me to live primarily in treetops.

DID YOU KNOW? When remodeling a home with the ultimate goal of making it more attractive to prospective buyers, homeowners can benefit from taking stock of current trends, including the style of home that’s most popular. According to a 2020 Homes.com survey of more than 5,000 adults across the United States, modern farmhouse is the most favored house style. The survey asked participants to choose from a selection of styles, including mid-century modern ranch, Spanish colonial/ southwest, bohemian craftsman, Italianate, French chateau, and Tudor. The modern farmhouse style was the most popular choice in 42 of the 50 states, proving that home style preference is not beholden to geography. Respondents gave a host of reasons for favoring the modern farmhouse look, including that the style is “aesthetically appealing but not boring” and that it looks “simple, cozy, and not too busy.”

Clicker Training Can Help Your Dog Love to Learn

NEW WAY TO SAVE ALL SHELTER PETS

(NAPSI)—The lives of nearly 733,000 cats and dogs could be saved with the help of caring humans and an innovative Web-based platform introduced this week by Best Friends Animal Society.

Envisioned as a tool to help animal lovers help their communities save more pets, the new community lifesaving dashboard combines groundbreaking data visualization technology with the most comprehensive data set on animal welfare ever published.

Two years in the making, the tool crowdsources, validates and translates complex data about the dogs and cats in U.S. shelters.

It brings an unprecedented level of transparency to the animal welfare movement, unlocking new opportunities for saving pets by providing a detailed picture showing precisely—on a city, state and community level—where cats and dogs need to be saved.

For the first time, anyone with a smartphone or computer will be able to easily access his or her community’s snapshot of how many cats and dogs need to be saved and find tools to help individual shelters save more pets. The organization used independent research, government data and even FOIA requests to create the most comprehensive data set on animal welfare ever published.

Best Friends CEO Julie Castle says the investment in data was necessary to achieve the organization’s goal of bringing the whole country no-kill by 2025.

“Up until two years ago, we didn’t even know how many shelters existed,” she said. “How can you possibly save all the animals if you don’t even know how many need to be saved?

“With this data in hand, our goal to save every savable pet by 2025 is finally within reach,” Castle said. To explore the community lifesaving dashboard, visit BestFriends.org/2025.

DEAR PAW’S CORNER: What is the value of training dogs using a clicker? I have tried using a clicker to train my dog Atlas, but he didn’t listen very well. When should I click at him -- when he’s misbehaving? Or when he’s doing something right? And how can he tell? -- John H., Spring eld, Massachusetts

DEAR JOHN: Clicker training, or “mark and reward” training, can seem almost magical in terms of how quickly and enthusiastically a dog learns. But that magic only happens when it’s being done correctly.

Basically, you press the clicker device when your dog does precisely the thing that you are trying to train him to do. And you follow up immediately (like, within a second) with a reward -- usually a little bit of a treat. So, here’s how it is done:

-- Decide on one behavior that you want your dog to learn in your training session. Start with a basic behavior, like “sit,” “come here,” “lie down” or “give paw.”

-- Give Atlas the command. If he doesn’t follow the command, don’t click.

-- As soon as he follows the command, click once and give him a little treat.

-- Repeat the process again and again until he follows the command immediately.

By associating the clicker noise with a command and a reward, Atlas will quickly build a positive association with the command. is works for many types of training, from basic obedience to agility to job-speci c commands. But you start with just one command at a time.

Also, consider working with a trainer, either one on one or in a group training setting. You’ll pick up many training skills quickly. It’s worth the investment.

NOW HERE’S A TIP

How to pack a suitcase: Roll pants and tops, adding to suitcase first, toward the handle side. Then add heavy items (shoes, boots) toward the wheel end. Make sure you choose the right size case for the trip; too much room will cause items to shift around.

SENIOR NEWS

“Shrink ation.” at’s a word that’s been in the news lately, and one that we need to pay attention to.

We know prices are increasing on our groceries. We see it every time we look at the price tags on the shelves when we shop, and certainly at the checkout. But shrink ation is a di erent thing and can be harder to spot. Shrink ation is sneaky price increases.

In shrink ation, the prices don’t go up, but what we get comes down. is is impacting most things across grocery stores, including dairy, shampoo, meats, frozen foods, toilet paper, pet food, pastries, candy bars, laundry detergent, sliced cheese, tea bags ... well, everything.

Example: e price of a can of beans stays the same, but we get fewer ounces. Example: e price of a loaf of bread stays the same, but it’s smaller. Same with cereal, which you’ll have noticed when the box sizes changed.

In my case, one particular item (frozen meatballs) at my local store dropped from 64 meatballs to 56 ... fewer for the same money.

Keep an eye on the unit pricing on the tag on the grocery store shelf. Yes, it’s in tiny print (which is one reason to carry a small magnifying glass at all times), but the numbers will tell you the unit price per uid ounce, pound or count. Over time you’ll be able to see if you’re getting less for your money.

Look at generics to save money (and, in many cases, get a better product) or just change brands. Buy more than one if the price is good, but watch the expiration dates.

Lastly, consider signing up for a store’s loyalty card if you get cash bene ts for doing so, and sign up for the emailed weekly sales yer to shop from.

By shopping carefully, we can beat them at their own game.

DID YOU KNOW?

According to the American Osteopathic Association, one in five teenagers will now experience some form of hearing loss. That rate is roughly 30 percent higherthanitwas20yearsago.Though various factors have contributed to that increase, the AOA notes that many experts believe an increased use of headphones among teenagers is partly to blame. Listening to headphones at high volumes for extended periods of time can lead to lifelong hearing loss for children and teens. Parents can encourage children and teenagers to listen to music at reasonable levels when using their headphones, and one effective way to control volume without sacrificing sound is to use over-the-ear headphones instead of earbuds. The Cleveland Clinic notes that over-theear headphones are generally more effective than earbuds at cancelling outside noise. That allows over-the-ear headphone users to listen to music at lower volumes, which can significantly reduce their risk for noise-induced hearing loss.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY WINTER ACTIVITIES

Snowman building: Perhaps no outdoor winter activity is more conducive to family fun than building a snowman. The season’s first substantial snowfall provides the perfect opportunity for parents and their children to start building some snowmen. While “snowman building” is unlikely to find its way onto any gym schedules, building a snowman provides a great workout. Lifting snow is great strength training, while pushing snow to form Frosty’s body is a great way to get in some cardiovascular exercise.

FORMER EMPLOYEE DEVELOPS BOOK TO CURATE THE HISTORY AND UNTOLD STORIES OF MENDON’S LEGENDARY TAVERN AND STAGECOACH INN

point for travelers, those doing business in the area, and visitors of every variety, including a long list of live musical bands. e hotel was known for attracting patrons from all walks of life, and while the railroad has since gone away, the memories and stories of each visitor remain within the walls of e Cottage.

The Cottage Hotel of Mendon is a celebrated favorite among foodies and historians alike. However, most are more familiar with their menu or weekly events than the hotel’s historical signi cance within the area.

Located on Pittsford-Mendon Rd at the four corners of Mendon, thehotelwasoriginallybuiltasastagecoachinnaround 1822. e Cottage Hotel has seen a variety of owners since then, and each has le an imprint on this historical landmark. Guests and employees frequently claim to even have witnessed unexplained paranormal activity, a permanent reminder of the hotel’s days gone by.

One such former employee and University of Rochester graduate, Karen Mireau Rimmer, is so invested in studying the paranormal activity of the hotel, as well as its intriguing history, she is developing a book, e Cottage Hotel: e History and Untold Stories of Mendon Hamlet’s Legendary Tavern and Stagecoach Inn.

Mireau Rimmer worked at e Cottage during the daytime. Local cra speople and farmers would come in, sit around, and tell stories. is intrigued Mireau Rimmer, and she began to write down the stories because they were so interesting. She says, “I could hardly wait to get home and write all of their recollections down. at spurred my inspiration to write about it.”

Her goals in developing this collection of stories are to “give back to the Mendon community for all they gave me. ey nurtured me, they counseled me; it became very much like home. I feel like there’s a lot of people who feel like the cottage hotel has that same quality, even though they come from other states.” As the founder of Azalea Art Press, Mireau Rimmer specializes in memoir, poetry, visionary novels, and creative non ction.

For Mireau Rimmer, e Cottage le a lasting impression on her and she would like others to know about its heritage and contribution to the Mendon community and beyond. Years ago, the hotel played an integral role as it was centrally located to the railroad line, which meant the hotel was a popular destination

If there was one word to describe the hotel’s essence, it would be the bevador. Mireau Rimmer says “ ere’s an amazing cooler [at e Cottage] that has been there for y or sixty years called a bevador.” e bevador is a huge beer bottle-shaped refrigerator made by the Jewett Refrigerator Company in Bu alo, NY in the early 1950s. Mireau Rimmer explains, “Everyone I have talked to as I have been interviewing remembers the bevador. e bevador is the Cottage Hotel. Current owner, Hillary Stott, found someone who can repair it. ose are the kinds of things that Hilary and David Stott do that make people feel like it’s their place,” raves Mireau Rimmer.

Locals describe the atmosphere of the Cottage Hotel as reminiscent of the popular television show, Cheers, with its warm ambience and no shortage of friendly gab, but it’s so much more than just another restaurant in a local small town. With such a longstanding history within the hamlet of Mendon and the ability to evolve with modern times while still maintaining ties to its past is part of e Cottage’s unique charm.

Mireau Rimmer seeks your help. Do you have stories to share about e Cottage? If so, please reach out to Mireau Rimmer at cottagehotelstories@gmail.com. Let’s memorialize the legacy of this historic local landmark.

RAVES

Huge Thank You!

To the wonderful person who found my wallet at the plaza on Commerce Drive in Victor on February 18th and turned it in to a store. You have no idea how much you helped a stranger! My wallet contained my license, cash, gift cards and a charge card. Everything was still there. I will never forget your selflessness! You are a miracle to me.

The Stranger whose kindness restored my faith today!

I wanted to get my sincere thank you out to the gentleman who pulled me out of a slushy frozen mess in the parking lot near the ATM in Churchville today. After struggling trying to dig out my old beat up 2WD truck on my own for nearly half an hour to no avail... I wish I had taken the time to ask the gentleman’s name and shake his hand. Your kindness was truly unexpected and words cannot express how much you helped me not only get out of my predicament, but how much you improved my frustration and the somewhat angry and rude mood I had started my day with. Thank you so much for the assistance and for your kind words and demeanor. It meant more than you know.

Thank you

Many thanks to the kind and honest person who found my purse at Wegman’s and returned it to the customer service desk. Your action was much appreciated!

How clean is your street?

A big thumbs down to my neighbor who thinks it's his job to clean the street. Cleaning up debris in the street is good; dumping it in your neighbor’s yard, not so good. Now this is not trash. It is ice and snow buildup along the curb. It's not in anyone's way and it will melt. Now it's piled in my front yard along with all the dirt and stones that the plow has scraped up. It looks terrible and was totally unnecessary! Do you think when it melts he will come over and clean that up? No. So you're retired and bored, me too! The next time you feel the need to clean the street, please use your own yard as the dumping ground.

Stop turning small towns into the inner city I moved out here a little over 10 years ago. I am so disappointed in how so many stores and restaurants are being built in the same parking lots. Like one in front of the other, looking like the big inner cities. Too many apartments now going up on every corner too. The bright lights in the store windows are awful and make it look like downtown pawn shops all along the main drag. Enough is enough, crime goes up and areas start to look like trash with all these businesses on top of each other. The rush hour is bad enough. The more you keep putting up here, the more traffic. Please leave some dignity to this town.

GET A HANDLE ON WORK-RELATED STRESS

Work-related stress is an all too common problem in workplaces across the globe. According to the American Institute of Stress, 80 percent of workers report feeling stress on the job. Perhaps most troubling, nearly half of those people admit they need help in learning how to manage their stress. The American Psychological Association notes that stressful workenvironmentscancontribute to a host of physical problems, including headache, sleep disturbances and short temper. Chronic stress can produce more serious consequences such as high blood pressure while also weakening sufferers’ immune systems. Stress at the workplace also can make it difficult to concentrate, which in turn can compromise workers’ abilities to perform at the peak of their abilities. That supports the notion that stress is a problem for both employees and employers. As a result, finding ways to reduce that stress should be a team effort. Getting a handle on stress can be difficult. Since so many people trace their stress to the jobs they need to get by, they might think it’s impossible to address that stress without derailing their careers. But there are a handful of ways for professionals to get a handle on their stress without negatively affecting their careers.
