Logistics and account managers need answers to a number of questions fast, in order to ensure a high level of service quality for their customers. Therefore Gebrßder Weiss developed a digital solution that allows supply chain visibility in real time, which makes the flow of information more transparent, faster and simpler.
AT A GLANCE: SIKA Sika Austria was established in 1939 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sika AG headquartered in Baar (Switzerland, in the canton of Zug). The company, which started out manufacturing bitumen products, additives, resins and mortars, has evolved over the years to become the market leader in the sphere of chemical construction materials in Austria. Today, the principal fields of activities involve building construction and civil engineering with a focus on concrete and mortar tempering, sealing systems, concrete renovation and maintenance, floorings and underground construction, as well as adhesives and sealants for industrial applications. Currently, Sika Austria has some 280 employees.

Sika has to inform its customers swiftly and reliably when the construction material ordered will arrive or when to expect outstanding deliveries.
