Hilde Hodnefjeld (born 1966) was educated in graphic design and illustration at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in Oslo, majoring in drawing. She works as an illustrator and as part of the Illustratørene collective in Oslo, and has illustrated a number of books for children. In addition, she has written and illustrated several picture books, such as Lykke and the Accident (2019) and Imagine (2012). 4

Kristin Lian Berg (born 1978, Klæbu) lives in Trondheim, where she works as a producer for cultural events. She was educated at the Art Academy in Bergen, the Creative Writing Academy in Hordaland, and has taken Author Studies 2 at the Academy of Art in Tromsø. She has previously published the novel Fine Weather, Partly Cloudy (Cappelen Damm). Anna and the Bird Problem is her first book for children.
Oda Valle, born in 1983 in Søfteland, holds a bachelor’s degree in visual communication from the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design in the UK. In 2021 she started writing and drawing children’s books, and as of 2022 she is a picture-book illustrator for Gyldendal. Her biggest dream and greatest ambition as an illustrator has been to illustrate books for children and teenagers.

Thore Hansen (b. 1942) is a cartoonist, illustrator and writer with a large and highly awarded production. He works with books for all ages, illustrates comics, magazines and books and has received particular recognition for his collaboration with Tor Åge Bringsværd.
He has worked full-time as a writer since his debut in 1967, and he writes fiction and non-fiction for both children and adults, and has produced a broad range of novels, short-stories and essays, more than 50 playwrights and over 60 books for children. His works have been translated into 23 languages, and his plays have been staged in 14 countries.

Mariangela Di Fiore (born 1981) has written twelve books for children, young adults and grown-ups. She is most famous for her non-fiction book, Camorraland (2010), which documents her encounters with the Neapolitan mafia organization Camorra. She received her degree in literature and screenwriting from UCLA. She is half-Norwegian and half-Italian, and lives in Nesodden, Norway.
Lisa Aisato (born 1981) is an acclaimed Norwegian illustrator, children’s book author and artist. Since her debut in 2008 she has released several of her own children’s books and illustrated for other authors, magazines and publications. She’s a regular contributor of illustrations for Norwegian weekend magazine Dagbladet Magasinet. Lisa’s books are published in several countries.

Hans Jørgen Sandnes Hans Jørgen Sandnes (born 1979) is a Norwegian illustrator and animator. He has also worked with illustration and animation in a number of other projects focusing on the promotion of culture to children.
