Dear Members,

It has been another busy year at the Club! I wanted to provide you with some updates on the many projects we are working on.

Chef Update

We are well over halfway through the search for our next executive chef. As your leadership team, we understand the importance of securing a qualified chef for our operation and addressing the membership’s suggestions. The selection committee includes Kay Williams, Connie Pouncey, Penny Hearn, Bill Odell, Bob Spinetto, Rich Kulak and Bill LaSorsa. We anticipate having our new chef in place early in the new year.

Master Plan Survey Presentation

The Master Plan Survey concluded, and we had over 900 member responses for a 64.09% response rate. The Chambers group indicated this was a very good response rate. The Master Plan Ad-hoc Committee received over 300 pages of comments. Chambers presented the results to the community on November 14 and a recording is published to the website for members not able to attend.

Pickleball and Bocce Improvement Plan Update

The bocce courts are in final stages of completion and the shade structures are in place. The four new pickleball courts are also now in place. We do not have a final completion date for the project, but we will keep the membership apprised as we approach the finish line.

Fitness Equipment Update

We expect the new fitness equipment to be delivered around the time this newsletter hits your mailbox.

Pool Update

The outdoor pool is scheduled to be refurbished in January. This will include a pebble quartz finish on the entire pool base with new tile surrounds. We will also be replacing the coping and several areas of the pool deck.

Benches, Waste Receptacles & Tennis Bleacher Shade Structures

We hope you are enjoying the new Polywood Benches placed throughout the amenity areas. Waste receptacles made of a similar material will be added as well. This Polywood material has an extensive life span and is easy to maintain. Also, new shade structures have been installed over the tennis court seating areas.
