EDITOR'S LETTER
Welcome What a journey creating this issue has been! This past month I’ve had the absolute pleasure of getting to know some of our lovely contributors much better, and working with them closely to publish their wonderful projects within these pages. I’ve also taken the chance to get crafty, with some amazing new designs from the AP&Q fabric range – you can check out the new styles at www.patchworkandcraft.com.au – as well as working on a mystery quilt with a kit bought to support the Bedford Group’s Mystery Quilt Challenge. You can see how it turned out at www.handmade.com.au This month’s drama came while I was playing with some Mason jars provided by Ball Preserving. I got a bit distracted while making some candles and may have started a small kitchen fire. Rest assured, neither the kitchen nor I were harmed – just a little shocked – and the results were worth the effort. Turn to page __ to see some Mason jar crafty creations from some of the girls in the office. I hope you’re enjoying Handmade’s new look; drop us a line or find us on Facebook to let us know what you think!
