The Asokwa Children’s Healing Garden is designed to combine therapy, play, and exploration to encourage the healing and restoration of the patients who inhabit it. This is accomplished through a myriad of strategic design moves such as reflecting the culture of Ghana in the landscape and site layout as well as repurposing water collected in the pavilion structure, engaging the five senses, and encouraging play for each of the stages of childhood development.

Onda Library is a public library that strives to revitalize the idea of “a library” by engaging student and city life and drawing people to the site through strategies such as adding a pop-up restaurant and creating a site that allows vendors to utilize the space for events such as Second Sundays. This project strives to answer the question: “How can we make the library relevant again?”

The Peaks is a multi-family unit housing project located in North Scottsdale by Pinnacle Peak. The main goal of this project was to provide a well equipped community for the working-class families that serve the wealthy population in this area. Throughout the site there are different moments designed to encourage community both among the residents as well as the general public.
This project dives into the exploration of the transformation of a simple object into a more complex structure. In this instance, the objective was to transform an existing column into a structure by implementing and repeating three commands. This structure is designed to be a meditative space in nature.
