PINK FAMILY

Pink is often regarded as the most feminine of colours. The lighter shades evoke a sense of youth and innocence. It’s never a threatening colour and even the brighter shades have a certain softness.

⬤ If you are cool then you will want to go for the coolest, bluebased pinks. Pale rose and strong fushia pink are cool toned, while shocking or hot pink generally works. If you are a cool/ neutral you may also suit a dirty raspberry shade.

⬤ Dirty pink is often best for neutrals, into warm/neutral.

⬤ Warm-toned people will suit dark raspberry.

Different shades of pink have lots of friends across the colour wheel. I love the femininity of a pastel pink contrasted with a bottle green and the exuberance of a bright pink and yellow combo. The only colour I avoid is blue – there is something dated about it.

As we go down the path of life and naturally lose definition in our features, we start to find that the extreme ends of our colour palette can become too harsh and wash us out. This is where thinking about shape becomes important too.

ANEEKAH

What an outfit. It is balanced and stylish and entirely confident! I love the peek of the complementary shoes too!
