“Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” While this accolade is most likely a Ben Franklin misquote, the heavenly brews of Trappist monks make Belgium a beer heaven on earth. Learn all you ever wanted to know about beer culture, and much more in The Beers of Belgium. And while planning your next European hash holidays, consider Krakow for Eurohash 2015. Hashers seeking solidarity in Poland may find the ghost of Leck Walesa lurking around every crack and cranny. If Asia is more accommodating to your dwindling bundle of Ben Franklin $100 bills, head to Bali for Asia Pacific Hash in May, and then back to the Island of the Gods again for the next Interhash. Say Mabuhay to earthly angels at the upcoming Philippines Nash Hash in Angeles City.
If the stench of Steinbeck’s Cannery Row is more your calling, we may see you at the CAN’D Red Dress Run in old Monterey, California. The coming months bring us some outstanding events in Bali, Brussels, and Thailand. Be it close to home, or in some exotic far away location, you can find hashers enjoying congenial camaraderie and a cold beer or two at the end of the trail. The Harrier Magazine Team in Asia, America, Europe and Oceania looks forward to meeting you on trail sometime soon. See you on trail, Jim Edens, Editor-in-Chief Harrier Magazine – Fun on the run since 2002 International Edition with readers in 100 countries www.HarrierMagazine.com

On The Cover: Nick “Little Boy” Edwards first ran with the Khartoum Hash in 50 degree Celcius heat (122 degrees Fahrenheit), and didn’t run again for 15 years. He has been a regular Phnom Penh hasher, Phnom Penh Bike hasher, and the GM of the PNP Full Moon Hash over the last 8 years. He is often found breaking bridges and paddy dikes, providing amusement to laughing and smiling villagers whose homes were just trot through, and singing full volume off key in the circle.
