Speaking of Eurohash, see what our favorite HHH event critic, John “CIA” Walsh has to say about the biggest event in Europe since Brussels 2014. Knights in shining armor, damsels in distress, and a sea of red dresses braving urban rednecks on the streets of Krakow. An unforgetable time was had by all in a part of Poland better known for Nazi atrocities than Eurohash revelry. Fast forward from a 1940’s earthly purgatory to Hash Heaven some 60 years later…the once sleepy fishing village of Pattaya Beach might ring a bell with many traveling hashers. The sparkling sea, the balmy tropical breezes, the shiggy trails, cold beer, bars, and……well, there’s even a rumor that there might be some nightlife in Pattaya as well. If you’re going to Mekong Indochina Hash in Yangon you might want to spend a post lube week in Pattaya 1115 November. If you’e not going to Myanmar, you just might want to come to Pattaya anyway.

While you’re daydreaming of tropical beaches, why not check out the newest HHH club in the old Sandwich Islands? Home to a dozen hashes statewide, the Kona Coast Hash House Harriers on the Big Island of Hawaii now has a sister club, in Hilo, Hawaii the wettest city in the USA. Another reason to keep Hawaii on your radar is the still unsubstantiated rumor that Hawaii might bid for InterAmericas Hash 2017. Grab your running shoes and get ready for some hashing fun with sun, surf, and plenty of frosty suds. The biggest midnight running party in Bangkok is coming up soon. Read all about this year’s Amari Watergate Midnight Charity Run, our featured running event. Special thanks to John “Malibog” Denny for another irreverant edition of the Stockholm Absolut Hash Trash. Thanks again to all contributors who send content from all over the planet. I hope to see you on trail soon. Kracking time in Krakow!

rak贸w is reputed to be the number one city in the world for the cheapest beer. So this town was an excellent choice for Eurohash 2015. I believe there were around 824 hashers in attendance. There would have been more but the organizers capped it. The main reason was the registration fee included two nights in a hostel on a college campus. The hash pretty much took over the whole building plus some additional rooms in nearby buildings. The site worked out well. Although not in the center of Krak贸w, it was about a 20 minute walk to the town center or you could take a tram nearby. In fact, the tram is what we used for the red dress run on Thursday.

EuroHash Ballbreaker Run Registration for the event went smoothly, ably ran by ‘Beaky’s Bitches and was held at the hostel. However, check in at the hostel was a different story. It went very slowly. I arrived on Wednesday so it wasn’t an issue for me. But the lines were quite long for those on Thursday arriving just before the red dress run. Goody bag included a nice tech tshirt which I really like. We also got a small camelback type bag which you could wear on a run. Other stuff was a pin, a plastic mug similar to what Brussels handed out last year and a patch. We also got a bottle of vodka, some thought it was beer a quick ‘gulp’! Shock, horror ‘. As already mentioned, accommodation was included in the registration fee which is not normally the case at these type events. The rooms were basically college dorm rooms although they had a bathroom attached. My room had two bunk beds. No air con. I suspect that is rarely needed but it would have come in handy for eurohash weekend as it was quite warm. Anyway, it worked for me. Some people were complaining about internet access. I brought an internet cable and a portable wireless router with me, so I had wifi access the entire time, but for those who didn’t, access was sporadic. The organizers also arranged with the hostel for additional days at a very reduced rate. A lot of people stayed Thursday and Sunday nights. 10 Harrier

any people would no more think of entering journalism than the sewage business - which at least does us all some good, and then I was asked me to write a few lines to promote our forthcoming extravaganza in Pattaya. Perhaps you are attending the Mekong Indochina hash in Myanmar this year why not finish your trip by coming to Pattaya City. We are only a short drive down the Motorway from Bangkok and more importantly there is plenty of reasonable priced accommodation.

Are you looking for loonies and religious fanatics and dropouts and freaks? I dare say you’ll find some of them in Pattaya – perhaps this is what you desire? Indeed, perhaps these are the unfortunates who will seek your like minded participation in our five days of hashing in November which will all be held in the best possible pantomime atmosphere and offer a series of Hashing related events to suit all tastes and abilities.

rojan F*ck Horse (TFH) and Take it in the Aft (Aft) moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in early 2014. It was a move made for completely selfish reasons. Although the island of Oahu had been home for almost a decade, it was too busy, traffic was terrible, and the concrete jungle was just too hot. TFH and Aft had traveled to Hilo on previous occasions and had found that it felt like home. So they ditched their loved ones and their mother hash, the Aloha H3, to start a new life in the rainiest city in the United States.

Our History he Gold Coast Hash House Harriers is the original Gold Coast club formed in May, 1978 by Terry Morrow (aka the Illusive Illusion) who had spent considerable time Hashing in South East Asia. After settling back on the Gold Coast, Terry and a few of his local mates decided the Gold Coast was ripe for Introducing some Hash culture. They put a hierarchy in place, found a suitable inaugural run site at the then Surfers Paradise Raceway, set a date and a run and bought some beer. After staggering through the local shiggy for a couple of hours with 40 other like-minded fools, then celebrating accordingly, a new Hash club was born. GCH3 has gone from strength to strength and still hosts 30 to 40 runners and walkers each Monday evening with the emphasis being on a gourmet meal prepared by the hare, the traditional circle and a few beers and red wines to replace lost fluids. A GCH3 “Splinter Lunch” is held on the last Friday of every month for more gourmet food, beer and wine tasting and often attracts more attendees than the Monday night runs.

La Union’s premier annual hash event – the Haggis Bash – takes place later on Saturday 5th December. It’s a unique event, incorporating a hash run, followed by the ‘Highland Games’ – a great collection of events with the emphasis on fun more than might. Volunteers and those ‘volunteered’ partake in games such as the sack race, egg and spoon race, tug of war, the plank walk, tossing the caber, and wanging the wellie. Scotch eggs are laid on for the spectators, and lots of
