If you love acting and want to be in the spotlight, this is the youth theatre for you! Being part of THYT also gives our members opportunities to appear alongside professional companies performing at The Hawth and they can take advantage of discounted tickets to see selected shows!

Street Dance Mondays 7.15pm - 8.45pm Adult street is a fantastic dance workout and great fun for all ages.

Wednesdays 6pm - 6.45pm High energy, fun dance workout with a latin vibe. Mix salsa, merengue, hip hop and lots more dance styles for a great cardio workout.

Mondays 5-7 years: 4.20pm - 5.05pm, 8-12 years: 5.10pm - 5.55pm, 13-18 years: 6pm - 7pm

Stretch & Tone Fridays 9.30am - 10.30am A mixture of Tai Chi, yoga and pilates.

Wednesdays 10.30am - 11.30am A yoga class for all levels. Hatha Yoga can be as gentle or challenging as you want to make it.

Life Drawing Day

Rachel Cowell from Ginger Moo offers a day session focused on learning new skills and experimenting with different media.

Papercraft workshops with Natalie O’Shea Creative Writing Workshops with Alison Carter Tue 12 September - 17 October 10am - 12noon Uncover the techniques of short fiction, marketable stories, and the ‘nuts and bolts’ of submission. £6 per session

Sat 16 September 1pm - 5pm Sat 21 October 10am - 2pm Sat 18 November 9.30am - 1.30pm Make fabulous handmade greeting cards whether you think you are crafty or not. £20 per session (pay on the day)

What can you use to make a mark? What will happen once you begin? Are you curious about where drawing can take you? Join Make Your Mark, the arts and mental health programme for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and start your drawing journey. Facilitated by a professional artist and a peer arts worker, this drop in workshop is open to everyone (all ages, skills and experience), and will encourage you to consider the possibilities of drawing. Stop by for ten minutes or stay for the whole day and experience the energy that is created when people get together to make their mark. Free event Make Your Mark would like to thank Arts Council England, Chalk Cliff Trust and the John Horniman’s Children’s Trust for their generous funding of the project.

Hawth Voices Ukulele Lessons with Mark Orchin Photography Session with East Grinstead Camera Club Sat 18 November 4pm - 7pm A session on composition, location and camera techniques. Free event

Saturdays 16 & 30 September, 14 October, 11 & 25 November and 9 December 10.30am - 10.45am (beginners) 11am - 11.45am (improvers) Learn the basics of the instrument, how to play in a group and have fun. Ages 16yrs+ £7.50 per session

Sewing Workshops with Diane Carney Sat 14 October 1pm - 3pm Be creative for a few hours and you could be the proud owner of a unique bag, cushion or gadget case. £20 per session (pay on the day)

Wednesdays 13 September - 6 December (not 25 October) 6pm - 7.30pm Come, raise your voice and have fun singing along with the Hawth Voices, a relaxed choir with a wide repertoire of all your favourite music.
