You’ll notice the Summer programme has more on offer than ever before, with a Murder Mystery evening set at The Hawth in 1988 to celebrate the theatre’s 25th Anniversary, an appearance from children’s favourite Dora the Explorer and a brand new Summer School offering local youngsters the chance to appear in a full-scale, show-stopping production of Grease the Musical, rehearsed and performed in just two weeks. Grease Auditions Theatre Summer School
Sun 21 April from 9.30am • Studio Do you love to take centre stage? Are you aged between 9 and 21? Bored with the same old summer holidays and think you could be the next Danny or Sandy? The Hawth’s Summer School is the perfect opportunity for local young people to get involved in a show stopping, full-scale production of Grease the Musical, rehearsed and performed in just two weeks. We are looking for 200 enthusiastic, talented singers, dancers, actors and technicians to be a part of a very special production of Grease. Watch the magic come alive with a professional creative team of directors, choreographers and vocal coaches to create a production on a truly epic scale. Ages 16-21: 9.30am - 12.30pm, ages 9-15: 12.30pm - 3.30pm, recalls: 1pm - 8pm. Successful auditionees must be available for the Summer School which runs from 12 - 24 Aug and costs £195 per person. Booking & Access Information Booking All tickets are subject to a £1 per ticket booking fee (maximum £6) The booking charge directly supports the running costs of The Hawth. Ticket revenue is divided between many different parties and an increase in ticket prices may not necessarily benefit the theatre. By adding a small booking charge, we ensure every penny goes to supporting your theatre and ticket price increases are kept to a minimum. Access The Hawth is committed to make the theatre as accessible and enjoyable an experience for all our patrons. Disabled Access Parking spaces available. Level access. Spaces in front stalls for wheelchair users and companions (available for half price at all Hawth promotions). Adapted toilet facilities are also available. Reservations Reservations should be paid for within three working days, otherwise they may be released for sale. Payment for group booking reservations is by arrangement.
Free Touch Tours Visually impaired customers and a partner are guided around the stage to feel the stage sets, props and possibly costumes an hour before the show (subject to producer’s permission). If you are interested, please ask when you book tickets.
Discounts Although discounts apply in most cases, promoters may on occasion exclude certain categories. Only one discount may be claimed per ticket.
Talking Programme Service Crawley Audio Description Service offers background information on the production and performers prior to certain performances starting half an hour before the performance.

Refund/Exchange of tickets
Booster Seats The Hawth has a limited number of booster seats available. The seats should be reserved at the time of booking. A £5 refundable cash deposit and a form of identity will be asked for on collection.
How To Find Us Crawley is midway between London and Brighton and is easily accessible by motorway, air (Gatwick Airport is four miles away) and rail. By Road Crawley is minutes away from the M23 motorway which links to the M25. The Hawth is well signposted on all major routes into the town. There is free car and coach parking on site.
The Box Office will issue credit vouchers for returned tickets as long as the tickets are returned at least one week before the performance. If the tickets are returned less than a week before or the performance is sold out we will have to ensure a buyer for the tickets before we can offer a credit. There will be a £1 per ticket charge for this service.

Gift Vouchers
By Bus Buses 4 and 5 stop at the large square roundabout just over the railway bridge from The Hawth. The buses serve Crawley and Three Bridges train stations, the town centre, Langley Green, County Oak and Pound Hill.
