Subtle Paws
Treading Water by Kathryn Gardner
A comedy of belly laughs, broken hearts, and biscuits. Sue and Carol are lifeguards. Their routine is simple and their dreams seem equally so as they spend their days keeping the morning swimmers, the day trippers, and the evening strollers safe. Day after day they sit, they wait, and they watch the world go by. But when your job is to watch, when do you actually get to live? And what are they waiting for? A sign of danger? Maybe that’s just what they need. Each morning a lone figure appears on the sand. The women watch, transfixed, as the he wafts his equipment, listening for the beep. If only there were a way to get him to come over. If only there were a way to get him to say something. Anything. Treading Water is a funny, heartwarming tale that combines classic end-of-pier comedy with Aykbourn-style dialogue. Suitable for ages 14+

Danny Baker: Good Time Charlie’s Back!
A welcome return following his sold out Cradle To Stage show last year with more tales from his three best-selling autobiographies and beyond.
One of the most accessible and moving operas ever written, La Bohème charts the ups and downs of a group of idealistic graduates as they bicker, party, try to make ends meet and follow their dreams. Aspiring novelist Rodolfo discovers a harsher reality when he falls for immigrant cleaner Mimi, while his best friend Marcello’s tempestuous relationship with his on-off girlfriend Musetta brings humour and fireworks to the stage. The comic elements of this hugely popular production heighten its tragic ending, with audiences saying this 21st century Bohème affected them like no other. Robin Norton-Hale’s thought-provoking libretto is delivered with vigour and pace and performed by some of the UK’s top singers.

BEST
‘BRINGS THE AUDIENCE CHEERING TO ITS FEET AND ROARING APPROVAL’
MUSICAL ALL MAJOR AWA R D S
DAILY MAIL
Written by Willy Russell, the legendary BLOOD BROTHERS tells the captivating and moving tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with fateful consequences. Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the multiaward winning BLOOD BROTHERS. Bill Kenwright’s production surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s West End, one of only three musicals ever to achieve that milestone. It has been affectionately christened the ‘Standing Ovation Musical’, as inevitably it “brings the audience cheering to its feet and roaring its approval” (The Daily Mail). The superb score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True.
