Lots of free taster sessions in music, arts & craft, drama, visual arts and singing, plus plenty of performances and displays to watch. Why not join us for a backstage tour to discover all the secret places you wouldn’t normally see? Delicious BBQ food on sale along with a range of summer drinks!

Backstage Tours

Fun For Little Ones

Get Creative Visual Arts: Artist Rachel Cowell of Ginger Moo hosts a workshop creating artworks in ink and mixed media. Come and have some fun, regardless of age and ability! The Loft / 1pm - 3pm

Join one of our backstage tours and discover parts of the building not usually seen by the public and gain some insight into what it takes to put on a show. Meet in the Foyer / 12 - 2pm

Performances

Busylizzy: Baby Boogie and Mini Dancers is a brilliant way to bring out your child’s rhythm, co-ordination and self-confidence, and have bags of fun at the same time! Each class helps tots with musical appreciation, colour recognition, communication & motor skills. The Loft / 3.15pm - 4pm (15min sessions) Whirly Wiggle Story Club: Bringing stories to life with actions, songs, musical games, drama, puppets and dollops of silliness! Unique, active fun for 2-5 year olds! Studio / 1pm - 1.35pm

Papercrafts: Come and join Natalie O’Shea to make a fabulous handmade greeting card. Natalie will show you how easy it is to make personalised cards whether you think you are crafty or not. The Loft / 1pm - 3pm Film School: This is your opportunity to learn about a range of filmmaking conventions behind feature films and documentaries, from screenwriting to directing and camerawork to editing. Studio / 3.45pm - 4.30pm

DJ Workshops

A great mix of music from a bit of pop to folk to blues and back to rock and roll. The best of local talent guaranteeing something for everyone. Busking Stage

Tons of Sound offer you the chance to get behind the decks to get a taste of what it takes to be a top DJ. Suitable for all ages. Gazebo / 1pm - 4pm

Get Active Street Dance: Open classes led by Shaun Angel and performances by current students. Marquee / from 1pm Beauty and the Beast Jr: A sneak preview of the spectacular summer school production.
