Chairperson’s Message by Shawn Stranathan

Spring is here! It’s been a long cold winter with a lot of snow and I can’t think of anyone I’ve spoken to who isn’t ready for this season change. One benefit of spring is warmer weather tends to get people motivated to do all the projects around the house (in & out) they’ve talked about and put off throughout the winter. So get ready to start answering those calls as they come in and be sure to capitalize on any opportunities by making a great first impression. Answer those calls with a smile and positive attitude then follow up repeatedly until you’ve won the job! Last month, the Remodelers meeting was held at Allo Communications. We enjoyed Subway sandwiches, learned about all the projects Speedway Properties is working on in the area and were given a tour of Allo’s facilities in the old Lincoln Telephone Co. building. Thanks to all who attended and helped facilitate the meeting. It was all very interesting. Our next meeting will be at the Kindler Hotel on April 3 and should be very interesting. I hope to see everyone there. The Tour of Remodeled Homes is coming up this month on April 27 & 28 with 16 entries. If at all possible, please come out and see these homes. It’s a great way to show support and see the excellent work being done by fellow members.
