Chairperson’s Message
Christmas Party
by Rick Willet
Hard to believe we are in the middle of the holiday season. I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for especially living in this great nation and the freedom we have. As I was writing this on Veterans Day weekend, I wanted to especially thank all who have served in our armed forces. Your sacrifices for our country and our freedom are so often taken for granted. Thank you so much. There is no other country I would rather live in than the good ol’ USA. We had an excellent meeting in November with Alex Ward of American Electronics presenting information about Smart Homes. Very good information about how technology is changing the way we live in our homes. Serving as Chairperson has really gone by fast and I want to thank Jennie and staff for being so organized and supportive. This really was very easy and I enjoyed being a part of it. I have to admit that even writing these letters has been somewhat of a good experience for me as well. I look forward to supporting our new officers: Shawn, Heidi and Erin. I know they will do an excellent job. God Bless all of you and have a Very Merry Christmas!

November Remodelers Council Meeting Remodeling Smart On Wednesday, November 7, Alex Ward of American Electronics spoke to the Remodelers Council about the products available to make our customers’ and our own homes connected. He explained some of the common tech lingo we hear today, but don’t always understand and described the difference between a “smart device” and a ”connected home.”
