Chairperson’s Message
Remodelers Council
Food Bank House
by Shawn Stranathan
at the Home & Garden Show
As I’m writing this message for the February Step by Step, it’s a beautiful 50 degree day and the government is 18 days or so into a partial shutdown. My hope is that by the time you read this in February, we are still enjoying temps in the 50’s but all the government agencies are back to work…with or without a wall.
Lancaster Event Center
February 8-10
Thank you to everyone who attended our January meeting at Duncan Aviation where we toured the Interior Division of their facilities. Our next meeting will be on March 6 at Allo Communications. There will not be a February meeting so we can get ready for and attend the Nebraska Builders Home & Garden Show February 8-10. Another event we have coming up is the annual Chili Cook-Off on March 11 and don’t forget the Tour of Remodeled Homes deadline is March 4. Thanks to everyone for your support and I look forward to seeing you at the Home & Garden Show this month. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Bring a non-perishable food item for the Food Bank of Lincoln and get $1 off your admission! Since 2003, the Remodelers Council has donated over 75,000 lbs. of food.
