Briggs, Inc. of Lincoln
by Pam Magner
When I think about summer, July is the month I envision. There is no school winding down or starting up, it’s summer all month long! The Fourth of July is a great time to think about how lucky we are as a nation and to celebrate our founding! I appreciate being able to choose my profession, to live where I want, worship as I choose and to have as many children as I desire! So, while fireworks aren’t necessarily my thing, I do celebrate our Independence Day and that my grandparents chose to come to this nation over any other! Thank you to Briggs for hosting our annual picnic. We weathered the unexpected monsoon pretty well and the food and fellowship were excellent. As usual, we won’t be meeting in July or August but be sure to consider attending the HBAL Hog Roast on August 11, at Matt and Tracy Kleinschmit’s starting at 5:30 p.m. Another August activity is the Remodelers Council Golf Tournament on Friday, August 25 at Holmes Golf Course with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. There is still time to register a team. Get out and enjoy summer!
