Chairperson’s Message by Megan Dreyer
Summer is upon us again, which for most of us means a busy season ahead. My sympathies to those who are still recovering from our eventful spring storm. While the repairs required keep many in our industry busy, it is also unfortunate for those clients who would rather plan more exciting projects. These projects are forced to be put on hold while repairs are made. Let’s remember to take this opportunity to consider the repair calls as future leads to more extensive projects down the road. Many thanks to Blue Blood Brewery and Sam Manzitto who hosted us for our May meeting at the new brewery at Robber’s Cave. What a tremendous feat of engineering and design to construct a building on top of a cave! Personally, I was amazed at the size and scope of the cave with its many meandering tunnels and alcoves. I also enjoyed visiting with many faithful members, as well as a few old friends.
Picnic in the Park Antelope Park • Shelter #2 June 8, 2016 • 11:30 a.m. Picnic Lunch Cost: $12 per person RSVP to info@hbal.org or call 402-423-4225 by June 2.
Our June meeting will be the Picnic in the Park on June 8. Please put this on your calendar and plan on joining us at Antelope Park for a laid back time of socializing. Not that we want to think about August quite yet, but considering it will be here before we know it, please start planning your team for the Annual Remodelers Council Golf Tournament. The tournament is August 26 at Holmes Golf Course with a shotgun start at 10 am.
