Chairperson’s Message by Molly Johnson
The February Home and Garden Show was another great success! The Remodelers Council was able to collect 4,689 pounds of food this year for the Food Bank of Lincoln. 2012 marked the 10th year of the Remodelers Council Food Bank House. In total we have donated 50,585 pounds of food. Thank you to everyone who volunteered time to setup, represent at the Food Bank House and then tear down. It’s a lot of work but worth it all to bring food to families in need. It was exciting to see the number of consumers who attended the Home Show and who were very interested in starting remodeling projects. It can give everyone hope for a busy and profitable spring and summer!
