Chairperson’s Message by Megan Dreyer

I hope this note finds you enjoying the beautiful fall weather and screen saver worthy scenery of the season. I know my family has been squeezing everything out of what is surely to be our final days of comfortable fall weather. I want to thank those who attended the October meeting. Although I wasn’t able to attend, I heard the presentation was informative and well received. Our November 2 meeting should be of interest to all of us as we look to the future of our industry. We will have the opportunity to tour The Career Academy at Southeast Community College. Now in its second year, this program aims to provide quality, career-focused education to our youth to peruse jobs that will impact all of us and our community. Please plan on attending and supporting this collaborative venture by Lincoln Public Schools and Southeast Community College. Another date to mark on your calendar is the annual Remodelers Christmas Party. This year’s party will be held at Venue Restaurant & Lounge on December 7. This is an excellent way to celebrate and reflect on this past year with friends and anticipate the season of joy that will soon be upon us.
