Chairperson’s Message

After Hours

by Mark Aksamit

October 14, 2015 • 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Hello Everyone, As the days are getting shorter and the air, a little cooler, please take time to enjoy all of the beauty that surrounds us every day. Fall is upon us and I think this is the best time of year in Nebraska.

Bath & Kitchen Idea Center by Lincoln Winnelson 700 Pioneers Blvd. Cost: FREE

I want to thank everyone who came out for the golf outing. It was a beautiful day to enjoy a round of golf and be with friends. A big thank you to all of the volunteers who gave of their time to make this wonderful day possible. Great fun. Great food. Great people. It can’t be beat.

Please send your RSVP to info@hbal.org or call 402-423-4225 by October 9.

On September 2 we took a tour of the Newman Center and St. Thomas Aquinas. I have heard a lot of positive feedback on this and I want to second those opinions. What a wonderful building and interesting story of how it all came to be.

Tour of St. Thomas Aquinas & the Newman Center

Please put on your calendar our next meeting at Lincoln Winnelson for a afterhours event on Wednesday October 14. I want to thank Lincoln Winnelson in advance for hosting this event and look forward to seeing everyone there.
