September Meeting
September 14, 2016 • 11:30 a.m.
by Megan Dreyer
Born in A Barn 815 O Street
Where did the summer go?! I feel as if each summer becomes shorter than the last. Before we know it, the city will be consumed by the “sea of red” and the normalcy of schedules will be upon us again.
After lunch, we will walk over to
I hope many of you were able to join us at the Remodelers Council Golf Tournament. Although it was a bit chilly, it was a fun event to reconnect and reengage. It also benefits a great cause. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, September 14. We will meet for lunch first at Born in a Barn located at 815 O Street and then make our way to the Schwarz Paper Building for a tour. Built in 1884 and previous home of the Schwarz Paper Company, this historic building will now serve as a retail, commercial and residential space for those desiring a spot in the growing haymarket area. Mark this on your calendars and plan on joining us! Another date to remember is September 12, for “Big Red Night.” Just attending will allow you the chance to win the grand prize of a Kansas City getaway, but recruit a new member and you increase your chances. Our speaker will be Husker Men’s Basketball coach, Tim Miles. If you’re looking for nothing else but an entertaining night, this is for you!
