Common Thefts at Jobsites & Keeping Your Business Safe

by Pam Magner

I hope everyone who participated in our annual golf tournament had a great time. If you were unable to make it, as I was, try to attend next year! It doesn’t require golfing expertise to enter.

Presentation by LPD

September is my most memorable month. Mostly because I have had so many birthdays! It is the month we have our family reunion, celebrate Patriot Day and reminisce about my mother. It is usually around this time of year that we start getting inquiries about remodeling projects with the hopes of being finished in time for the holidays. I guess things slow down for some people once school starts back up. (I find back to school to be hectic. Transporting kids after a 3 month break, looking over various notes and emails from each school and providing homework help is a far cry from the freedom summer provides.) Whatever the reason, fall ushers in a new set of clients…with deadlines. Hopefully, we can all manage to fulfill those desires considering the robust economy, and full calendars, we are experiencing. With the steady supply of work comes those who want to take advantage of us and our jobsites. Our September 6 meeting will be at the HBAL office and will feature officers from the Lincoln Police Department to talk to us about theft at jobsites and ways we can keep our businesses safe. Join us for lunch and what promises to be an informative meeting. Seems I’ve forgotten something? Oh, right, September brings Husker football as well, Go Huskers!!

HBAL Office 6100 S. 58th Street, Ste. C Cost: $10 per person for lunch Please send your RSVP to info@hbal.org or call 402-423-4225 by September 1.
