1970’s brick ranch “fixer upper” style. You’re going to want to check out this project if you’ve ever wondered what you could do with a basic 1970’s brick ranch style home that lacks curb appeal. The homeowners have incorporated as many architectural antique elements as possible in this newly remodeled home. • New front entry, stone columned porch • Garage bumped out to add space and to create a different roof line with the bonus of a beautiful wood-looking garage door as well as a recreational area where the garage used to be. • Walls removed and beams added for an open floor plan with large dining/kitchen space • Warm and functional “heart of the home” kitchen and pantry • Master suite with sliding barn door, free-standing tub and walk-in shower • Great room addition with stone fireplace and windows overlooking a spectacular view of the stamped concrete patio, fire pit and free-standing outdoor fireplace • Basement game room/media room with heated and colored concrete floors • Three updated bathrooms with a plethora of new and exciting materials GoodeGuy Construction would love to sit down with you and work with you on your project to see what we can do for you and the dreams you have for your house.

The Natural Light Company invites you to visit the home of Ken and Daveen Renner. While the Renners were having their 22-year-old two-story home reroofed, they felt it would be the perfect time to have a Natural Light Co. makeover. After meeting with the Certified Daylighting Consultant, the Renners decided to have Solatube® Daylighting Devices installed in each of their three bathrooms as well as one in their garage. Mrs. Renner stated her top two priorities were the guest bathroom and the second floor bathroom since neither have windows. Like many of us, they normally leave the bathroom doors open while not in use. With the addition of the new Solatubes®, healthy natural light is now free to spill into the hallways making the house even more inviting. The daylighting device that gets the most frequent use is the one installed in their master bathroom. This Solatube® was positioned to maximize the usable amount of light over the vanity while adding additional natural light to the walk-in closet and the master bedroom. Last, but not least, the Renners followed the advice of the daylighting consultant and had a 14” Solatube® installed in their garage. The newly added natural daylight eliminates the need for them to turn on lights each time they want to store or retrieve items from their garage. It also provides plenty of light over the work bench for do-it-yourself repairs and craft projects. Our customers invariably tell us the Solatube® Daylighting Devices installed in their garages make the most significant improvement. The only way to fully understand what a big difference it makes is to see for yourself. At the Natural Light Co. we like to say, “Seeing is Believing!”

Before Our main goal was to create a sewing room for our homeowner to enjoy during her retirement. The mudroom was created to allow their After entire family to have a “drop zone” to keep the house more organized. The homeowners worked closely with our lead carpenter to design and build the custom cabinetry in the mudroom, laundry room and sewing room. This remodel gives the house a functional yet elegant look for the entire family to enjoy. Call Reese Construction’s quality team for all of your remodeling needs:

DREAM, DESIGN, BUILD WITH CABRIO HOMES Cabrio Signature Homes and Remodeling is a full service design and build company in the Lincoln area. Our mission, whether building new or remodeling, is to design homes or transform homes into spaces that reflect functionality, personality, comfort and lifestyle. This traditional 1 1/2 story home located in the Colonial Hills neighborhood was originally built in 1993 and purchased by the current owners, Fran and Ryan in 2014. Although the home was well-kept and structurally sound, at nearly 21 years old, they saw a need to update the house. Listening to the their likes, dislikes, ideas, style and other needs, we were able to rethink the typical cosmetic update and create a completely new and better use of the space and flow pattern of the home. A complete renovation both inside and out was the end result. To describe what we achieved in words would not do the project justice, we invite you to stop by and have a look for yourself. We are fortunate and grateful to have worked with such a wonderful couple and to have their blessing to show what is possible for any home. We had so much fun working with them during the process and made new friends (as we at Cabrio Homes think it should be). It is truly an honor to showcase their home. Your Cabrio Homes team: Adam, Jim, Cindy, Kelli and Kelly Services Provided: • Garage addition • Front porch redesign for both functionality and curb appeal • Complete inside renovation on all levels • New windows and doors • New siding • New roof • Backyard landscaping Areas Served: Lincoln, Waverly, Roca, Bennet, Palmyra, Firth, Eagle, Crete, Alvo, Adams, Greenwood, Raymond

As we celebrate 25 years of kitchen and bath design, the CS design team invites you to enjoy this contemporary kitchen remodel that was completed in 2015. The original kitchen design had limited work space and a number of awkward layout challenges. The goal was to create a space that was contemporary, clean and updated while still respective of the kitchen’s original appeals like the Brazilian cherry wood floor and lovely natural lighting. The homeowners prioritized a long island that would accommodate seating for four to five, cook-lover appliances such as a double oven, induction cooktop, wine refrigerator and slab style cabinets that could also provide floor to ceiling storage. The result is this modern and warm kitchen that draws you in with both its function and beauty. Points of interest: • Cabinetry by WW Woods. Eclipse frameless construction with Takase Teak laminate finish • Lift-up mechanisms on upper cabinets • Layers of lighting include: - LED under-cabinet lighting with plug mould outlets - Custom-designed monorail lighting system with art glass pendants - Hidden bar with jam switch for lighting • Smoke glass tile • Inviting island of Vicostone quartz in the color Taj Mahal with eased edge • Creative work area of double oven, refrigerator and cooktop to solve the former kitchen’s awkward design and layout We encourage you to visit our CS Kitchen & Bath showroom, meet our designers and to imagine the potential for your own home. We specialize in design creativity and project coordination from start to finish. We are grateful to be part of the Lincoln community and thank you for stopping by today!

This tired townhome kitchen went from crafty to classy at the hands of the Willet Construction team. This project is a perfect example of using limited space to accommodate more than you can imagine. MORE STORAGE Additional storage was achieved by installing wall cabinets to the ceiling and adding a peninsula. The previously awkward corner was replaced with two lazy Susan corner cabinets. A drawer with a twotiered divider doubles the storage for cooking utensils right next to the range. MORE LIGHTS Layers of LED lighting were added: Recessed lights in the ceiling, under-cabinet lighting, in-cabinet lighting, dimmers and a new dinette fixture provide options for task and mood lighting. MORE COUNTER SPACE The new peninsula replaced storage lost by the tall cabinet removed and allowed for adding countertops where there were none. The beautiful Italian white di pesco WisonArt laminate countertops were not only budget friendly but also accommodated an under-mount Karran sink. MORE STYLE Classic elements such as white wall cabinets with pewter glazing, a marble looking backsplash tile with deco above the sink and cherry base cabinets blend beautifully with each other and the existing flooring and furnishings in the home. Special detail was given to a lit cabinet above the sink which features lighting, glass shelves and a mirrored back. We are often approached by homeowners who have the desire to create a larger kitchen but keep the integrity and charm of the existing house. This was the case in taking a small eat-in area plus a cramped kitchen with another small dining area and wanting to create a functional kitchen that was more open to make the house feel like it was larger. We created this by removing a wall between the kitchen and eat-in area plus the dining space and creating one large space. We added a door to the rear of the house where there was a window and finished the walls and ceiling so you could not tell there ever was a wall there. By creating a classic but elegant white kitchen highlighted with dark granite countertops and refinishing the oak floors to be a little darker, you end up with a beautiful charming kitchen! We would love to have the opportunity to come visit with you and see what the possibilities are for your home to transform it into a space you love.

What started as a tiny one-bedroom, one-bath 450 square-foot bungalow is now a 1,600 square-foot cottage that reflects the original homes architectural roots. Covered in a clipped gable roof along with board and batten siding, the cottage has the charm and easy simplicity of an early 1900’s home with the details that reflect a modern day lifestyle. The large master suite wraps around the side of the home making for a private courtyard retreat that provides an outdoor living and eating area. A detached three-car garage is tucked behind the home and utilizes the same cottage design to give it the feel of a period carriage house. Inside, this relaxing home is evocative of a laid back, midwestern cottage. Unfussy furnishings, playful décor and intentionally imperfect materials create the illusion of a home and addition that has been lived in for generations. What was done: • Used existing home to create a kitchen/great room with vaulted ceilings and reclaimed structural collar ties • Added a master suite with walk-in closet and full bath featuring a claw foot tub and custom shower • Added two additional bedrooms along with a Jackand-Jill full bath • Added a three-car 850 square-foot detached garage • New courtyard and deck along the side of the home • All new siding, windows and roofing throughout
