Has This Virus Mutated Before? As per COG-UK, for SARS Cov-2 there are around 4000 mutations in the spike protein. Earlier, the dominant strain was D614G. In Summer, there was another strain that had mutated in Europe and it spread rapidly.

Your diet and lifestyle have a direct link to diabetes. A new study has found that sweetened soft drinks having high-fructose corn syrup can make a person diabetic, this is mostly found in children.
According to professor N.J. from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, these “unbound” compounds have fructose and glucose molecules that can damage the tissues.
While studying about carbonated beverages in a laboratory, a scientist found that drinks containing the syrup have a high level of compounds that trigger cell and tissue damage that causes the disease.
On the other hand, these reactive carbonyls are missing in table sugar because it has “bound” fructose and glucose components. In short, these chemicals are even more better and stable.
However, the food industry doesn’t agree with the fact that sweet syrup increases the risk of diabetes.
When these reactive carbonyls get into the blood, it increases the risk of diabetes and creates further complications.
In soda, food, beverages, and baked goods, HFCS is added. It is sweet, economical, and easily mixes up with beverages other than table sugar. Studies claim that HFCS could possibly increase the risk of diabetes and the food industry doesn’t agree with this. Let’s look at how this study was conducted, it’s observations, and analysis. A scientist named ChiTang Ho, Ph.D. conducted a chemical test among 11 carbonated soft drinks having HFCS and found that these beverages had 23
Findings As per the professor, the reactiv carbonyls in a single soda can is five times more than the concentration found in the blood of a diabetic patient. Further, they found that the levels of reactiv carbonyls can be lowered by adding tea components to drinks having HFCS. It is the presence of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a compound in tea, that reduces the levels of reactive carbonyl species in doses when added to carbonated soft drinks.
Scientists clearly say that there is a piece of evidence about the ill-effects of HFCS. This intoxicating substance is not good for children who consume too many carbonated beverages. Researchers say that it is perfectly fine to reduce the consumption of HFCS. Currently, researchers are still studying the chemical mechanism of tea neutralizing the reactivity of the syrup. They are even trying to study how carbonation increases the number of reactive carbonyls formed in sodas containing HFCS. It has been noted that noncarbonated fruit juices containing HFCS have onethird the number of reactive carbonyl species found in carbonated sodas with HFCS. On the other hand, noncarbonated tea beverages having high-fructose corn syrup with EGCG, have around one-sixth the levels of carbonyls found in regular soda. The brain can find a physical place alone and then with others. This means it is the brain that helps us put ourselves in someone else’s shoes. How was the study conducted? The researchers implanted electrodes in the brains of epilepsy patients to gain control over their seizures. These electrodes stay in the medial temporal lobe that is linked to memory and it has the ability to navigate like a GPS service. Before this, studies showed that the medial temporary lobe has neurons that show low-frequency brain waves. The researchers wanted to see if they could investigate this idea in people and test if they could monitor others near them. However, existing technology was a hindrance. One of the researchers used a $3.3 million award from the National Institutes of Health’s BRAIN Initiative and invented a special backpack with the computer that has a wireless connection with the brain electrodes. These electrodes were expected to stay still in the brain scanner or attached

to a recording device, but they started moving. Every patient was asked to wear a backpack and they were told to move in the empty room, find a spot, and remember it for future searches. As they started walking around, the backpack recorded the brain waves, eye movements, and paths all through the room. The moment these participants searched the room, their brain waves started flowing in a distinctive pattern. This suggested that every brain could map out the walls and other boundaries. For real, there was the same flow of brain waves while they were seated in the corner of the room and looked at someone else to reach the place of the hidden spot.
