A new study conducted by the researchers from the University of Bath suggests that E.coli and MSRA are the talks of the past. There has been a discovery of an even deadlier bacterium which is antibiotic resistant and the astounding fact is that every single person around the planet bears it on their skin. We are often well acquainted with MSRA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) but a closely related bacterium to the prior, Staphylococcus epidermidis is believed to impose even worse and deadly effects on one’s health, especially following a surgery. It has the potency of inducing life threatening infection but majority of the clinicians tend to overlook this because of the abundance of it. The renowned scientists from the Milner Centre of Evolution suggested the kind of threat posed by this specific bacterium. These genes helped them strive in the bloodstream of the host and actively avoid the immune responses of the host.
